Wiring Diagram
The thermostat is available in three models: WP, EP, and WPB. Each model has specific wiring terminal configurations.
WP Model:
Terminals: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Connections include L, N, NN1, NO, NC. Rated for AC100-240V, 3A. External sensors cannot be connected.
EP Model:
Terminals: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Connections include L, N, L, RT. Rated for AC100-240V.
WPB Model:
Terminals: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Connections include L, N, Dry Contact. Rated for AC100-240V, 3A.
Installation Instruction
This product is suitable for standard 86*86mm wall boxes and 60 mm European round boxes.
- Connect the power box according to the wiring diagram.
- Separate the power supply from the control board cable.
- Screw the power supply into the 86-sized box.
- Connect the power board to the board line, and align the buckle at 30 degrees to complete the installation.
Description of Display & Icons
The thermostat display shows various information and status indicators:
- Time display: Shows the current time.
- Room temperature: Displays the current ambient temperature.
- Mode icon: Indicates the current operating mode (e.g., Manual, Programming).
- Button icon: Represents the physical buttons on the thermostat: [M button], [clock icon], [power icon], [up arrow], [down arrow].
- Wi-Fi icon: Indicates Wi-Fi connection status.
- Week icon: Shows the current day of the week or programming schedule status.
- Heating icon: Indicates when the heating system is active.
- Time icon: Often associated with programming or clock settings.
The main display area features a large house outline with digital readouts for temperature and mode settings, along with various icons at the top and bottom representing different functions and statuses.
Operation Instruction
- Power on/off: Press the [power icon] to turn the thermostat on or off.
- Set Temperature: Press the [up arrow] or [down arrow] buttons to adjust the desired temperature.
- Set the Clock: Press the [clock icon] to set the minute. Use the [up arrow] or [down arrow] for adjustment. Then, press the [M button] to set the hour and the week in turn.
- Switch Modes: Press the [M button] to switch between Manual and Programming mode.
- Manual mode is indicated by a [hand icon] display and means the thermostat is non-programmable. In this mode, press [up arrow] or [down arrow] to set the temperature.
- Programming mode is indicated by a [clock icon] display.
- Set the Child Lock: Simultaneously press and hold the [up arrow] and [down arrow] buttons to enable the child lock. A [lock icon] will appear on the screen. Press and hold the [up arrow] and [down arrow] again to disable it.
Wi-Fi Link and Programming Mode
Wi-Fi Link
When the thermostat is turned on, press and hold the [up arrow] button for 5-8 seconds. The Wi-Fi icon will flash on the thermostat screen, indicating that the thermostat has entered the code matching state.
Set the Programming Mode
Press and hold the [M button] to enter programming mode settings. The time and day icons (1-5) will be displayed. The display of icons 1-5 indicates a 5 working day + 2 rest day schedule.
- Press [up arrow] or [down arrow] to set the time for each period.
- Press [M button] to enter temperature adjustment for the period.
- Press [up arrow] or [down arrow] to set the temperature.
- Press [M button] to enter the next period adjustment.
- Press the [power icon] to exit and save settings.
For temporary adjustments within a programming period, press the [up arrow] or [down arrow]. The [clock icon] will display, and the setting will apply manually until the next scheduled programming time point.
Press the [M button] to switch between manual mode and programming mode.

Remark:
- The defaulted temperature for periods 3 and 4 is the same as period 2. Please adjust as needed.
- Do not set the last time point of each day beyond 23:59.
Advanced Setting
In the power-off state, press the [M button] and the [power icon] button for 5 seconds to enter the advanced option setting. Press the [M button] to navigate to the next option, and use the [up arrow] or [down arrow] to adjust values. Press the [power icon] to save and exit.

Sensor error:
If no external sensor is connected, do not set the sensor selection to ALL or OUT. Otherwise, "Er" will appear on the screen, and the thermostat will stop heating until the problem is resolved. "Er" will also appear on the screen if there is an error with the connected sensor.
Phone Port Operation Instruction (Wi-Fi Connection)
Preparation before Wi-Fi connection
APP download and account registration:
- Download APP:
- For iOS system: Log in to the App Store, search for "Tuya Smart", and download it on your iPhone.
- For Android system: Log in to Google Play, search for "Tuya Smart", and download it on your phone.
- Register Account:
If you do not have an app account, you can register or log in via SMS verification code. Click "Create a new account" to access the Tuya Smart Platform Privacy Policy page. After clicking "Agree", you will proceed to the mobile phone registration page.
The system will automatically determine your country/region, or you can select it manually. After entering your mobile phone number or email address, click "Get Verification Code". Enter the received verification code, then enter your password, and click "Finish" to complete the registration.
Wi-Fi Connection Steps
- Turn on your mobile phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Ensure your mobile phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Activate the thermostat Wi-Fi module: When the thermostat is turned on, press and hold the [up arrow] button for 5 seconds. The Wi-Fi icon will flash on the thermostat display, indicating it has entered the code matching state.
- Add Device: There are three methods to add a device:
- Method 1: Enter the Tuya APP. The main page will automatically prompt "Device to be added". Click "Add".
- Method 2: Enter the Tuya APP. Click "Add Device" or the [plus icon] in the upper right corner of the APP homepage. Enter the "Add Device" interface. The app will prompt you to find the device to be added; follow the on-screen prompts.
- Method 3: Enter the Tuya APP. Click the [plus icon] in the upper right corner of the APP homepage. Find the temperature control product (Bluetooth + Wi-Fi model) under "Small Household Appliances". Ignore the content of the subsequent page (as shown in picture 5) and tap "Next". Then, ignore the content of the next page (as shown in picture 6) and click "Next". In the following screen (picture 7), tick the box to confirm "The indicator is blinking" and click "Next".
- Enter Wi-Fi Information: Enter the name and password of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure the Wi-Fi name and password contain only numbers and letters, and no special symbols. Follow the prompts to the next step. You will see the device being added, and after a few seconds, it will be added successfully. The time taken depends on the Wi-Fi signal strength.
Display of Temperature Controller APP Interface
The Tuya Smart app provides an interface to control and monitor the thermostat. The main screen displays the current temperature, target temperature, and heating status (e.g., "Current temperature: 15.9°C, start heating"). Users can switch between Manual mode and other modes, and adjust settings.
The Settings menu allows for configuration of various parameters, including:
- Working day setting (e.g., 5+2)
- Week programming settings
- Sound (On/Off)
- Backlight brightness
- Temperature calibration
- Max setting temperature
