Yamaha Music Vietnam to Provide Yamaha Music Education Program to Kindergartens in Vietnam

Yamaha Music Vietnam Co., Ltd. (YMVN), the sales subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation in Vietnam, has entered into a business partnership with KiddiHub Education Technology Joint Stock Company (KiddiHub), one of Vietnam's largest kindergarten and school review and education information sites. This collaboration aims to provide the "Yamaha Music Program for Kindergarten" to educational institutions in Vietnam, leveraging KiddiHub's customer base and network to expand music education opportunities for young children.

Partnership with KiddiHub

The partnership was formalized on July 28, 2025. YMVN will utilize KiddiHub's "Vietnam Business Support Service" to reach kindergartens. Market research conducted through surveys and interviews with kindergarten operators and parents revealed that approximately 70% expressed interest in introducing music education.

Trial lessons were conducted in several kindergartens that showed interest. Based on the feedback, the curriculum, lesson duration, and pricing structure were refined to meet parental expectations.

Yamaha Music Program for Kindergarten

The "Yamaha Music Program for Kindergarten" is designed for children aged 3 to 6 years old, based on Yamaha's early childhood music education programs. It aims to support the development of children's "sensitivity," "expression skills," and "cooperation skills."

YMVN will also dispatch Yamaha Music School certified instructors to provide the program. This initiative is integrated with Gakken Holdings' "Gakken STEAM Program" (GSP), a STEAM education program for young children, where it will be offered as the music education component.

Market Demand and Expansion Plans

In Vietnam, while music education for children before compulsory schooling is limited, there is a growing demand from parents seeking to nurture their children's sensitivity and coordination. YMVN plans to expand the program to 200-300 kindergartens in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City within the next three years.

This expansion aims to increase awareness of Yamaha Music Schools and drive future business growth. By fostering a love for music in young children, Yamaha aims to contribute to an increase in musical instrument players and promote a sustainable cycle of education and culture, thereby supporting the development of music culture.

Comments

Vu Van Tung, CEO of KiddiHub

"From our first meeting with YMVN and our discussions on early childhood education, we had hoped for a day when we could collaborate and develop music curricula in Vietnam. It is a great honor to add Yamaha's music curriculum, which has a long history and proven track record in Japan, to GSP. We will leverage our experience cultivated in the Vietnamese market to deliver this music curriculum to more children and provide even greater value to Vietnamese education."

Nobuhiko Adachi, President of Yamaha Music Vietnam Company Limited

"With the growing interest in education in Vietnam, the market for private lessons is expanding. It is very encouraging to be able to jointly develop our business with KiddiHub, which is already ahead in introducing the GSP program to kindergartens. We will provide Japanese educational content with a proven global track record, differentiate ourselves in the competitive private lesson market, and expand our business."
