Installation Thermostat in the App
Ensure your router is within range of your smartphone and you are connected to the Internet for faster pairing.
STEP 1 - DOWNLOAD ENGO SMART APP
Download the ENGO Smart app from Google Play or Apple App Store and install it on your smartphone.
[Get it on Google Play] [Available on the App Store]
STEP 2 - REGISTER NEW ACCOUNT
- Click "Register" to create a new account.
- Enter your email address to receive a verification code.
- Enter the verification code received via email (valid for 60 seconds).
- Set your login password.
STEP 3 - CONNECT THE THERMOSTAT TO ZigBee
- Ensure the ZigBee Gateway has been added to the Engo Smart app.
- Press and hold the ➖ and ➕ buttons on the thermostat until "PA" is displayed. Release the keys. Pairing mode starts.
- The thermostat will count down (180 seconds).
- Access the gateway interface in the app.
- Navigate to "Zigbee devices list" and select "Add devices".
- Wait for the "End" message to appear on the thermostat screen.
- Name the device and click "Done".
The thermostat is now installed and displays the main interface. A globe icon ? on the controller screen indicates it has been added to the ZigBee network.
Synchronization with Head
An internet gateway is not mandatory for head synchronization. Ensure the head is installed and adapted to the valve insert (refer to head manual). Synchronization cannot be activated if the thermostat is connected to a wireless control box or relay module.
- After head adaptation, press and hold the head button for 3 seconds (LED flashes blue).
- On the thermostat, simultaneously hold the ➖ and ➕ buttons until the "SY" function appears.
- Release buttons; SYNC function is active.
- The thermostat will indicate the number of synchronized heads.
- The "END" message will appear upon successful synchronization.
- The LED will indicate blue light for 10 seconds after successful synchronization.
Note: Synchronization should be performed for each head separately. One thermostat can control up to 6 heads in one room.
Binding Thermostat with Wireless Control Box
Ensure the control box and thermostat are on the same ZigBee network (added to the same gateway) and the POWER LED on the control box is blue.
- To link with a control box: Select the zone on the control box using the SELECT button (LED flashes 3 times). Confirm selection by clicking the PAIR button (LED flashes green; binding active for 10 minutes).
- For modules/relays: Quickly click the device button 5 times (LED flashes red, indicating binding mode).
- On the thermostat, hold the ➖ and ➕ buttons until the "bind" message appears.
- Release keys; the binding process is active (up to 300 seconds).
- The "End" message will be displayed on the thermostat upon successful binding.
- An icon ? will appear on the thermostat screen, indicating connection with the receiver.
ATTENTION: If binding fails, repeat the process, considering device distances, obstacles, and radio signal interference. Engo ZigBee repeaters can extend radio range.
ATTENTION: If communication is lost between a binded thermostat and zone, the zone will turn off after 50 minutes.
Installer Settings
To enter installer parameters, press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds.
