Note: In AF mode, automatic focusing may be difficult depending on the subject.

Precautions for Use
- The internal focusing (IF) system is used to reduce the minimum focusing distance. Therefore, the angle of view may be wider than lenses using other focusing systems when shooting at distances less than infinity.
- The lens hood or lens barrel may block flash light. Test shooting is recommended initially.
- Due to the display systems of different cameras, values displayed may differ from the maximum and minimum aperture values indicated in the specifications. This does not indicate a malfunction.
- Do not touch the lens-camera interface contacts 12 with your fingers. Doing so may cause malfunctions.
- Condensation may form due to sudden temperature changes, causing malfunctions.
- The front lens element has a coating for protection against dirt. After dust is removed from the lens surface with a blower or other method, wipe the surface with a dry cloth.
- Never use benzene, thinner, or other organic solvents to clean the lens.
- Store the lens in a clean, well-ventilated place.
- More information on lens cleaning and storage, camera compatibility, and other support information is available on our website: https://www.tamron.jp/en/support/
