Tamron Lenses Win Prestigious EISA Awards for 2025-2026
Tamron Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Shogo Sakuraba, Headquarters: Saitama, Japan) is pleased to announce that two of its lenses, the 28-300mm F/4-7.1 Di III VC VXD (Model A074) and the 90mm F/2.8 Di III MACRO VXD (Model F072), have received awards from the prestigious European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) for 2025-2026. This marks Tamron's 20th consecutive year of winning EISA awards and the first time two models have been honored simultaneously.
The 28-300mm F/4-7.1 Di III VC VXD (Model A074), a high-magnification zoom lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras with a Sony E-mount, was awarded "EISA SUPERZOOM LENS 2025-2026." The 90mm F/2.8 Di III MACRO VXD (Model F072), a medium-telephoto macro lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras with Sony E-mount and Nikon Z-mount, was awarded "EISA MACRO LENS 2025-2026."

The Tamron 28-300mm F/4-7.1 Di III VC VXD is a high-magnification zoom lens suitable for everyone. It covers a wide range of subjects, from landscapes at 28mm, standard views at 35mm or 50mm, portraits at 85mm or 135mm, to wildlife and sports at 300mm. At the wide-angle end of 28mm, it achieves a minimum focusing distance of 0.19m and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.8. The lens delivers exceptionally high sharpness in the center of the frame and features VC (Vibration Compensation) for blur-free, clear imaging. Designed for Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras, this 10.7x zoom lens is lightweight and compact, weighing 610g and measuring 126mm, making it ideal for travel. Its moisture-resistant construction and fluorine coating ensure reliable use even in outdoor shooting. A USB Type-C port allows users to adjust focus, assign custom functions, and update firmware using the dedicated TAMRON Lens Utility™ software.

90mm F/2.8 Di III MACRO VXD (Model F072)
The Tamron 90mm F/2.8 Di III MACRO VXD is a modern macro lens designed for Sony and Nikon full-frame mirrorless cameras. It balances high rendering performance with practical usability, achieving excellent sharpness across the frame even at its widest aperture. Chromatic aberration and distortion are effectively suppressed. With a 1:1 maximum magnification ratio, it is ideal for detailed close-up photography. Furthermore, its focal length and bright F2.8 aperture make it an outstanding portrait lens. The high-speed, quiet VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor ensures accurate autofocus, even for moving subjects. Despite its compact size, it features a robust, moisture-resistant construction for reliable outdoor use. A USB Type-C port enables customization of features such as A-B focus and focus ring settings via the TAMRON Lens Utility software for PC, smartphones, and tablets running Android™ OS, catering to video and photo creators.
