This document provides essential installation and technical guidance for TransGo's performance enhancement kits for automatic transmissions.
The TransGo 4L60E-PRO Reprogramming Kit is engineered to address common issues in 4L60E transmissions, including 3-4 clutch and 2nd band burn-up, harsh 1-2 and 2-3 shifts, converter slip, and shudder. It also offers an optional Gear Command feature for manual control of gear selection up to any RPM for specific model years.
Additionally, the TransGo 7-CS 700R4 & 4L60E Clutch Spring Kit is designed for high-performance applications, particularly those operating above 5500 RPM. This kit resolves issues related to centrifugal force affecting clutch seals and pistons, which can lead to leaks, softened shifts, and clutch damage at higher engine speeds.

Compatibility
The 4L60E-PRO kit fits 1996-2018 models (excluding 2005 Corvette) and does not fit 1993-1995 or Hybrid models. The 7-CS kit is for high-performance applications revving over 5500 RPM.
