Get Started
Power On/Off
Power On: Short press the main power button. The display screen turns on. If idle for 5 minutes, the station enters hibernation and the screen turns off.
Power Off: Long press the main power button for approximately 3 seconds.
Tip: The power station cannot be turned off by long-pressing the main power button while it is charging, unless the charging cable is unplugged first.
Power Your Appliances
Via USB Output Port: Connect devices directly to the USB ports.
Via AC Output Socket: Press the AC output button to turn the sockets on/off. Ensure the total power of connected appliances is less than the socket's rated power (refer to X-Boost for details).
AC Timeout Tip: The AC output port may automatically turn off if idle. For devices with intermittent loads (e.g., refrigerators), set the AC timeout interval to 'never' in the EcoFlow app to ensure continuous power. Regularly check the battery level.
Via DC Output Port (Cigarette Lighter): Press the DC output button to turn the port on/off. Ensure appliances meet the required starting current for proper operation.
Charge Your Power Station
From a Wall Outlet: Connect the AC input port to a wall outlet using the provided AC charging cable. Recommended: Use a power socket with a capacity over 10A. Plug directly into the wall outlet, not an extension socket.
Maximum AC Input Power: Power Station: 380W; Power Station + Extra Battery: 650W.
From Solar: Connect the solar input port to solar panels using a solar charging cable (sold separately). Ensure the panel's output voltage is less than 55V to prevent damage.
From a Car Cigarette Lighter: Connect the car input port to your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket using the provided car charging cable. Start the vehicle before charging and ensure the cable is securely connected.

Expand Battery Capacity
Connect up to one EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus Smart Extra Battery to extend runtime. Ensure both the power station and extra battery are turned off before connecting or removing.
To Connect: Remove protective cover, align ports, plug together. The extra battery icon on the screen confirms successful installation.
To Remove: Press the unlock button on the extra battery, lift the power station, and replace the protective cover.
X-Boost: Powering High-Wattage Appliances
The AC output sockets support X-Boost, allowing devices up to 1200W (900W for JP version) without overload protection failure. X-Boost is enabled by default and can be managed via the EcoFlow app. It is unavailable in bypass mode (when the station is connected to grid power and outputting to devices simultaneously).
X-Boost is suitable for heating and motor-driven devices but not for those with voltage protection. Test compatibility with your devices.
Backup for Essential Devices (UPS Function)
The power station can function as a UPS, providing continuous backup power during grid failures with a transfer time under 10 ms. When grid power is lost, it automatically switches to battery power.
Basic Setup: Connect the power station to a wall outlet and appliances (total power <600W) to the AC output sockets.
Advanced Setup: For monitoring and UPS settings, download the 'Power Manager' software from EcoFlow Support. Install it on your computer or NAS, connect the station via the USB-B to USB-A cable, and launch the software.
