X-Boost: Powering High-Wattage Appliances
The AC output sockets support X-Boost, allowing devices up to 600W (450W for JP version) without overload protection failure. X-Boost is enabled by default and can be managed in the app. It is unavailable in bypass mode. X-Boost is suitable for heating and motor-driven devices, but not for devices with voltage protection.
Backup for Essential Devices
Use the power station for essential household appliances during power outages. Connect the station to grid power and appliances to its AC output. The station automatically transfers to battery power. RIVER 3/RIVER 3 (230) offers Emergency Power Supply (EPS) with a transfer time within 20ms. RIVER 3 (10 ms UPS) offers Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a transfer time within 10ms. For critical devices requiring uninterrupted power (desktops, servers), use the UPS feature. Power only one device (max 300W) at a time to avoid overload.
