Setting Up the Device
Scenario 1: With MPro Mesh Router
- Power On: Plug in the power adapter and turn on the Device. Wait for about 2 minutes. The Power LED lights up steady green.
- Connect the Device's 2.5G LAN port to the MPro Mesh Router LAN port using the included Ethernet cable. Wait until the POWER and LINK LEDs are steady green.
- Unplug the Ethernet and power cable from the Device.
- Place the Device where you want to extend your Wi-Fi network.
- Plug in the power adapter. Ensure the LINK LED is steady green. If the LINK LED is red, move the Device closer to the MPro Mesh Router.
- To add more extenders, repeat from step 1.
Scenario 2: With Non-MPro Mesh Router and Two Devices
- Connect the first Device (Device-1)'s 2.5G LAN port to the Non-MPro Mesh Router LAN port using the included Ethernet cable. Wait until the POWER and LINK LEDs are steady green.
- Connect the second Device (Device-2)'s 2.5G LAN port to the first Device (Device-1)'s 2.5G LAN port using another Ethernet cable. Wait until the POWER and LINK LEDs on Device-2 are steady green.
- Unplug the Ethernet and power cable from Device-2.
- Place Device-2 where you want to extend your wireless network.
- Plug in the power adapter for Device-2. Ensure the LINK LED is steady green. If the LINK LED is red, move Device-2 closer to Device-1.
- To add more extenders, repeat from step 2.
- Note: Do not unplug the Ethernet cable connecting Device-1 and the Non-MPro Mesh Router.

Green | Blinking | The Device is transmitting/receiving Wi-Fi data. | |

Mode | Green | On | The Device in Router mode has a successful Ethernet connection on the WAN, and has an IP address. PPP negotiation was successful (if used). |
Mode | Amber | On | The Device in Router mode has Ethernet WAN enabled but failed to get a WAN IP address. Possible causes: no response from DHCP server, no PPPoE response, PPPoE authentication failed. |
Mode | Off | The Device is in Extender mode, or the Device does not have an Ethernet connection with the WAN. |
Wall Mounting (Optional)
- Drill two holes for the Screw Anchors, 72 mm apart. Insert the Screw Anchors into the wall.
- Insert two M4 Tapping Screws through the holes on the bracket into the plugs/anchors to secure the bracket to the wall. Make sure the screws are securely fastened to the wall.
- If you want to thread connection cables through the bracket, do that before attaching the Device to the bracket. Be careful not to damage the cables.
- Position the Device so the holes on the bottom panel line up with the hooks on the bracket. Push the Device in to lock it in place.
- Secure the Device to the bracket with the M3 Tapping Screw.
