Setting Up the WX3100

Follow these steps to set up your WX3100:

1. Attach the bracket to the bottom of the WX3100.
2. Place the WX3100 where you want to extend your wireless network.
3. Plug in the power adapter and turn on the WX3100. Wait for about 2 minutes. The Power LED should light up steady green.

MPro Mesh Network Scenarios

Scenario 1: With MPro Mesh Router

This scenario applies if you have a Zyxel router that supports MPro Mesh. If not, refer to Scenario 2.

Note: To check if your Zyxel router supports MPro Mesh, scan the QR code on the last page. To set up your WX3100 with the MPro Mesh app, scan the QR code on the last page.

1. Connect the WX3100's LAN port to the MPro Mesh Router's LAN port using the provided Ethernet cable. Wait for the POWER and LINK LEDs to turn solid green.
2. Unplug the Ethernet and power cables from the WX3100.
3. Place the WX3100 in the desired location to extend your WiFi network.
4. Plug in the power adapter. Ensure the LINK LED is solid green (preferred) or amber. Refer to the LED table for details.
5. To add more extenders, repeat from step 1.

Scenario 2: With Non-MPro Mesh Router and Two WX3100s

The WX3100 connected to the Non-MPro Mesh Router via Ethernet cable is referred to as the first WX3100 (WX3100-1).

1. Use the included Ethernet cable to connect the first WX3100 (WX3100-1) LAN port to the Non-MPro Mesh Router's LAN port. Wait for the POWER and LINK LEDs to be steady green.
2. Place the second WX3100 (WX3100-2) where you want to extend your WiFi network.
3. Wait for the POWER and LINK LEDs on WX3100-2 to turn steady green (preferred) or amber, indicating auto-pairing is complete. If the LINK LED is red, move WX3100-2 closer to WX3100-1.
4. Scan the QR code on the last page to install the MPro Mesh App for managing your WX3100-1.

Download the MPro Mesh app to manage your WX3100.

Note: To manage your Mesh network, connect the MPro Mesh app to the Controller (WX3100-1 in Scenario 1 or MPro Mesh Router in Scenario 2).
