How It Works
Headphone Controls
The headphones feature several buttons for control:
- USB-C Charging Port: Located on one side of the headband.
- LED Indicator: Shows charging and pairing status.
- Power/Volume + Button: Located on the side of the headband, used for power, volume adjustment, and pairing initiation.
- Volume - Button: Located below the Power/Volume+ button, used for volume adjustment and checking battery status.
- Multifunction Button: Located on the other side of the headband, used for playback control, call management, and voice assistant activation.

Powering On/Off
To Turn On: Press and hold the Power/Volume + button until the LED indicator flashes blue.
To Turn Off: Press and hold the Power/Volume + button until the LED indicator flashes red.

Pairing
Steps to Pair:
- Start with the headphones turned off.
- Press and hold the Volume + button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately, and Audrey says "pairing".
- Open the Bluetooth settings on your device and select "OpenRun Pro 2 by Shokz".

How to Wear
Place the headphones behind your neck, then position the ear hooks over your ears. Ensure the transducers are positioned in front of your ears for optimal sound and comfort.

Note: Wearing the headphones incorrectly may cause discomfort. The transducers should be positioned in front of the ears.
Volume Control
While audio is playing, adjust the volume by pressing the Volume + or Volume - buttons.
A "beep" will sound when the volume reaches its maximum level.
⚠️ Listening at high volumes can impair hearing and distort audio.

Check Battery Status
While audio is paused, click the Volume + or Volume - button. Audrey will announce the battery status (e.g., "Battery high," "Battery medium," "Battery low," "Charge me").

Extra Features
Equalization Modes
The headphones offer different EQ modes to suit your listening needs:
- Standard Mode: Balanced frequency, suitable for everyday music listening. (Visual: A graph showing balanced frequency levels.)
- Vocal Mode: Enhances mid-frequencies, ideal for listening to audiobooks or online courses. (Visual: A stylized person icon with sound waves, suggesting voice clarity.)
- Bass Boost Mode: Enhances low frequencies, perfect for music with a strong beat during sports. (Visual: A graph emphasizing lower frequency bars.)
- Treble Boost Mode: Enhances high frequencies, suitable for elegant and light music during relaxation. (Visual: A graph emphasizing higher frequency bars.)
Changing Equalization Mode
While music is playing, press and hold both the Power/Volume + and Volume - buttons simultaneously until you hear a "beep".
You can also change EQ modes using the Shokz app.

Multipoint Pairing
Connect to two devices simultaneously for seamless switching.
To Pair Two Devices:
- Start with headphones off.
- Press and hold the Volume + button until Audrey says "pairing" and the LED flashes red and blue alternately.
- Press and hold the Multifunction button and the Volume + button until the headphones emit a notification sound.
- On the first device, open Bluetooth settings and select "OpenRun Pro 2 by Shokz".
- Turn off the headphones.
- Repeat step 2 to re-enter pairing mode.
- On the second device, open Bluetooth settings and select "OpenRun Pro 2 by Shokz".
- Turn off the headphones.
- Turn on the headphones. They are now connected to both devices.

Disabling Multipoint Pairing
To disable multipoint pairing, follow these steps:
- Start with the headphones turned off.
- Press and hold the Volume + button until Audrey says "pairing" and the LED flashes red and blue alternately.
- Press and hold both the Multifunction button and the Volume + button until the headphones emit an audible alert.

Factory Reset
To restore headphones to factory settings:
- Start with the headphones turned off.
- Press and hold the Volume + button until Audrey says "pairing" and the LED flashes red and blue alternately.
- Press and hold the Multifunction button, the Volume + button, and the Volume - button simultaneously until the headphones emit an audible alert.

Changing Language
Your headphones support four languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean.
To Change Language:
- Start with the headphones turned off.
- Press and hold the Volume + button until Audrey says "pairing" and the LED flashes red and blue alternately.
- Double-click the Multifunction button, then single-click the Volume + button. The language will change when you hear the corresponding language prompt.
You can also change the language using the Shokz app.

Care and Maintenance
Charging Tips
The headphones automatically turn off during charging.
When the battery is low, you will hear a "charge me" message, and the red light will flash intermittently. Use the provided USB-C charging cable.
The LED indicator will be red during charging and turn blue when charging is complete.

Storage and Maintenance
- Store headphones in a cool, dry place. Operating temperature: 0°C to 40°C.
- Keep away from heat sources, combustible gas, or corrosive liquids. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight. Do not use or store in hot environments like a car interior.
- Immediately stop using the product if any parts are damaged or produce smoke, heat, or a burning odor.
- The earcups have an IP55 dust and water-resistant rating, suitable for non-aquatic sports and exercises, but are not fully waterproof. Do not immerse in water. The IP55 rating is not permanent and may degrade with normal wear.
- Clean headphones with a soft, dry cloth.
- After long-term storage, charge the headphones before use.
Hearing Loss Warning
Listening to audio at excessive volumes can distort sound and increase the risk of hearing damage and hearing loss. It is recommended not to listen to audio at high volumes for prolonged periods.
Battery Safety
CAUTION:
- Replacing the battery with an incorrect type may compromise protection.
- Disposing of a battery in fire or a hot oven, or crushing or mechanically cutting a battery, could cause an explosion.
- Leaving a battery in an environment with extremely high temperatures could cause an explosion or leakage of flammable liquids or gases.
- A battery subjected to extremely low atmospheric pressure could cause an explosion or leakage of flammable liquids or gases.
- Do not use the battery if it is visibly swollen.
Charging Precautions
- Always ensure the charging port is dry before connecting the charging cable to prevent short circuits, fires, or explosions.
- Do not charge immediately after exercise to avoid sweat inside the charging port, which could damage the circuit.
- Keep the product away from heat sources during charging.
- Use only with a power adapter approved by competent authorities and compliant with local regulations (e.g., UL, CSA, VDE, CCC).
Driving Hazards
Be aware that in some countries or regions, using headphones while driving any type of vehicle may be illegal. Check and comply with your country's traffic code or relevant laws and regulations, or consult your local regulatory authority.
Skin Irritation
- Rarely, some users may experience allergic reactions or skin sensitivity from prolonged contact with the product's external materials.
- To avoid allergic reactions, do not wear the product if you have skin lesions or irritation on or around your neck, ears, or head.
- If redness, swelling, or itching occurs while wearing the product, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor.

- Radio waves generated by this product may affect the operation of certain medical devices, such as pacemakers, defibrillators, cochlear implants, hearing aids, etc. If you use any of these medical devices, consult your doctor and the medical device manufacturer regarding restrictions on using this product and maintain a safe distance between the product and medical devices. Discontinue use if you suspect interference with your medical devices.
