Introduction

LabSen electrochemical sensors are premium pH electrodes with manufacturing technology and key components imported from Switzerland. The LabSen 371 plastic flat pH electrode adopts a flat membrane and PTFE junction structure. It is suitable for wet solid and semi-solid surfaces, such as paper, skin, textile, and leather.

This probe has the following features:

• Anti-corrosion POM (Polyoxymethylene) shaft, offering good mechanical performance.
• Blue gel inner solution, which does not flow and will not cause bubbles.
• Long-life reference system, providing better stability and service life.

2 Usage and Maintenance

1. Testing surface needs to be clean and wet, such as wetting the surface of skin or textile with distilled water.

2. Connect the BNC plug to the input on the pH meter.

3. When measuring, please unscrew the bottle cap, pull out the electrode, and rinse it with deionized water. After using, please put the electrode back into the bottle and screw the cap tight.

4. The electrode's measuring tip should be soaked in the soaking bottle containing a certain amount of storage solution to keep the membrane hydrated and the junction unblocked. Clean the bottle and replace the storage solution if it gets turbid and mildewed. The electrode should never be sunk in pure water or buffer solution for long.

5. The connector of the electrode should be kept clean and dry. If contaminated, please clean it with medical cotton and absolute alcohol, then blow dry to prevent short circuits and slow electrode reactions.

6. After 1 year of use, it is recommended to replace the electrode to ensure the best accuracy.

3 Warranty

APERA INSTRUMENTS warrants this electrode to be free from defects in material and workmanship. The company agrees to repair or replace, free of charge, any malfunctioned or damaged product attributable to APERA INSTRUMENTS' responsibility for a period of six months. The warranty period is the time limit for providing free service for products purchased by customers, not the service life of the tester or electrodes.

This limited warranty does not cover any damages due to:

• Transportation;
• Storage;
• Improper use;
• Failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance;
• Modifications;
• Combination or use with any products, materials, processes, systems, or other matter not provided or authorized in writing by APERA INSTRUMENTS;
• Unauthorized repair;
• Normal wear and tear;
• External causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond APERA INSTRUMENTS' reasonable control.
