Installation and Setup

Connections:

• Connect the soundbar to your TV using an optical cable or an HDMI cable (ARC recommended for optimal performance).
• If using external devices like a set-top box or game console, connect them to the TV via HDMI.
• Connect the wireless subwoofer and then the soundbar to power. The subwoofer's LED will turn green when a connection is established.

Wireless Subwoofer Placement: Install the wireless subwoofer close to the soundbar. Keep both units at least 1 meter (3.3 ft) away from devices like wireless routers or microwave ovens to prevent interference.

Connectivity

Bluetooth Pairing:

1. On your smartphone, go to Settings and turn on Bluetooth.
2. Press the Bluetooth pair button on the soundbar. LED1 and LED2 will blink white.
3. Find and select "LG S40T(XX)" on your smartphone's Bluetooth list.
4. Once connected, LED1 and LED2 will light up white.

LG ThinQ App:

Download and install the LG ThinQ app from Google Play or the App Store to access advanced features and control your soundbar.

Troubleshooting Wireless Subwoofer Connection

If the wireless subwoofer shows a red LED:

1. Turn off the soundbar using the Power button.
2. Press the PAIRING button on the back of the wireless subwoofer. The LED should blink green.
3. If the red LED persists, press and hold the PAIRING button on the subwoofer again.
4. Turn on the soundbar. A green LED on the subwoofer indicates a successful connection.
