Specifications

POWER: This unit operates on a mains supply of 100-240 V~50/60 Hz.

Wiring: This unit is supplied with a BS 1363 approved main plug. When replacing the fuse, always use a fuse of the same rating and approved to BS 1362. Never use this plug with the fuse cover omitted. To obtain a replacement fuse cover contact your dealer. If the type of plug supplied is not suitable for the mains sockets in your home, then the plug should be removed and a suitable type fitted.

Warning: A mains plug removed from the mains lead of this unit must be destroyed. A mains plug with bared wires is hazardous if inserted in a mains socket. Do not connect either wire to the earth pin, marked with the letter E or with the earth symbol ? or coloured green or green and yellow. If any other plug is fitted, use same rating of fuse in the plug.

Important: The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following codes: BLUE: NEUTRAL, BROWN: LIVE. Connect the blue wire to the terminal marked 'N' or coloured black. Connect the brown wire to the terminal marked 'L' or coloured red.

LED Status Indicators

Visual representation of LED states and meanings:

• Power on: Solid White
• Power off: Solid White
• OPTICAL/HDMI ARC: White blinking
• Bluetooth ready: White blinking
• Bluetooth: Solid White
• HDMI IN: Golden yellow
• USB: Purple

Connection Guide

Follow these steps to connect your soundbar:

1. Connect the soundbar to your TV via an optical cable or an HDMI cable.
2. If using an external device (e.g., Set-top box, Blu-ray player, game console), connect it to the soundbar or TV via an HDMI cable. (Note: HDMI cables, optical cables, or USB extension cables may need to be purchased separately.)
3. If rear speakers were purchased separately, connect them via speaker cables. Connect the black striped cable to the negative terminal and the remaining cable to the positive terminal of each speaker.
4. Connect power in the following order: Wireless subwoofer [ Rear speakers [ Soundbar. Then, turn on the soundbar. The LEDs on the wireless subwoofer and rear speakers will light up green when the connection is established.

Using the Product with Your TV

1. Press the [Function button] repeatedly until LED1 lights up white for general use. If connecting an external device via HDMI™ IN, press the [Function button] until LED1 lights up golden yellow.
2. On your TV's settings, set the output speaker to [HDMI ARC], [Optical], or [External Speaker].

Connecting to Your Smartphone via Bluetooth

1. On your smartphone, go to Settings and turn on Bluetooth.
2. Press the [Bluetooth pair button] on the soundbar. LED1 and LED2 will blink white.
3. Find and tap the product on your smartphone. It will appear as "LG S70TY(XX)".
4. When connected, LED1 and LED2 will light up white.

Connecting to the LG ThinQ App

1. Install the LG ThinQ app from Google Play or the App Store on your smartphone.
2. Access more information by selecting [Help] within the app's [Setting] menu.

Troubleshooting Wireless Speaker Connection

A red LED on the wireless subwoofer or rear speaker indicates a connection issue. Follow these steps:

1. Press the [Power button] on the soundbar to turn it off.
2. Press the [PAIRING button] on the back of the wireless subwoofer or rear speaker. Check if the LED blinks green. If a red LED persists on the subwoofer, press and hold the button again.
3. Press the [Power button] on the soundbar to turn it on.
4. A green LED light on the wireless subwoofer or rear speaker indicates a successful connection.

Placement and Interference

Keep the soundbar, subwoofer, and rear speakers more than 1 meter away from devices like wireless routers or microwave ovens to prevent wireless interference. ?

Sound Mode Recommendation

For optimal sound from all speakers, select the BASS BLAST (BASS BLAST+) sound mode. ?
