Important Safety Notice
The cord grip for the plug is built into the power cord. If the cord needs shortening, DO NOT RE-USE THE PLUG. A new plug must be used, secured to the power cord in accordance with Plug & Socket Regulations 1994.

Connections Overview
A: Soundbar

Connection Steps:
- Connect the Soundbar to your TV using an optical cable or an HDMI cable.
- If using an external device (set-top box, Blu-ray player, game console), connect it to the TV via an HDMI cable.
- If necessary, purchase HDMI cables, an optical cable, or a USB extension cable.
- Connect power in the following order: Wireless Subwoofer, then Soundbar. Turn on the Soundbar. A green LED on the wireless subwoofer indicates an automatic connection.
LED Status Indicators:
- Red blinking: Connection error or not connected to subwoofer.
- White blinking: Bluetooth pairing mode.
- White: Bluetooth connected.
- Purple: Not specified in detail, likely related to specific modes.

Connecting to Your Smartphone via Bluetooth:
- On your smartphone, go to Settings and select Bluetooth. Turn on the Bluetooth function.
- Press the Bluetooth pair button on the Soundbar. LED1 and LED2 will blink white.
- On your smartphone, find and tap the product name, which appears as "LG S40T(XX)".
- When connected via Bluetooth, LED1 and LED2 will light up white.
Connecting to the LG Soundbar App:
- Find and install the "LG Soundbar" app from Google Play or the App Store on your smartphone.
- More information is available via [Help] in the app's [Setting] menu.
Troubleshooting (Red LED on Wireless Subwoofer):
This indicates the Soundbar is not connected to the subwoofer. Follow these steps:
- Press the Power button on the Soundbar to turn it off.
- Press and hold the PAIRING button on the back of the wireless subwoofer. Check if the LED blinks green. If a red LED persists, press and hold the button again.
- Press the Power button on the Soundbar to turn it on.
- A green LED on the wireless subwoofer will light up once the connection is established.
Placement Advice:
Keep the Soundbar and Subwoofer more than 1 meter (approx. 3 feet) away from devices like wireless routers or microwave ovens to prevent wireless interference.
