1. General Power Tool Safety Warnings
1.1 Work Area Safety
- Keep work area clean and well lit.
- Do not operate in explosive atmospheres (flammable liquids, gases, dust).

1.2 Electrical Safety
- Use correct plugs and outlets.
- Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces.
- Do not expose to rain or wet conditions.

- Use RCD protected supply in damp locations.
1.3 Personal Safety
- Stay alert, use common sense. Do not use when tired or under the influence.

- Prevent unintentional starting (ensure switch is off before connecting power/battery).
- Remove adjusting keys/wrenches before operation.

1.4 Power Tool Use and Care
- Use the correct power tool for the application.
- Do not use if the switch does not turn on/off.
- Disconnect power/remove battery before adjustments or storage.
- Store idle tools out of reach of children and untrained users.
- Maintain tools and accessories; check for damage.
- Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.

1.5 Battery Tool Use and Care
- Ensure switch is off before inserting battery pack.
- Recharge only with the specified charger.
- Use only with specifically designated battery packs.
- Keep battery away from other metal objects when not in use to prevent shorting.
- Avoid contact with ejected battery liquid; seek medical help if necessary.

- Read instructions before charging.
- Recharge only with USB power supply (5V DC).
- Do not charge leaking batteries.
- Use chargers only for their specified purpose.
- Protect charging device from moisture.
- Do not use charging device outdoors.
- Do not short out battery or power supply contacts.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Ensure correct connection between charger and battery.
- Charge in a well-ventilated area away from flammable materials.
- Do not overcharge. Do not leave batteries/chargers unsupervised.
- Optimal charging temperature: 18°C - 24°C. Do not charge below 4°C or above 40°C.
Additional Safety Instructions Related to Battery Safety
- Charge only with 5V DC power supply.
- Do not charge in places with static electricity.
- Store battery between 4°C and 40°C.
- Never store or leave lithium-ion battery in temperatures over recommended limits (e.g., hot vehicles, sheds) to prevent fire.
- Optimal storage temperature: 20°C - 25°C.
- Allow battery to cool down after charging before placing in hot environments.
- Store tool in packaging in a clean, dry environment away from corrosive fumes or salt air.
- Do not dispose of battery in fire, microwave, conventional oven, dryer, or high-pressure container (risk of explosion). ?
- Never attempt to open, puncture, or subject battery to strong physical shock.
- If battery leaks, keep away from fire. Wash skin/clothes with water. Flush eyes with water for 10 minutes and consult a doctor.
- Do not use a leaking battery.
- Handle batteries carefully to avoid shorting with conductive materials (risk of overheating/burns).
- Recycle batteries at local municipal recycling center. Do not attempt to replace battery cells or modify the pack.
When to Charge the Battery
New batteries need full charge before use. Battery can be recharged anytime if not overheated. Recharge if power drops or tasks cannot be performed. For storage, recharge to 50%-75%.

Cordless Hedge Trimmer Safety Warnings

- Keep body parts away from the blade. Do not remove cut material or hold material while blades are moving. Blades continue to move after switch-off.
- Carry by handle with blade stopped, switch off.
- When transporting/storing, fit blade cover.
- When clearing jammed material or servicing, ensure switches are off and battery is removed/disconnected.
- Hold by insulated gripping surfaces only (hidden wiring risk).
- Keep power cords/cables away from cutting area.
- Do not use in bad weather (risk of lightning).

Carefully unpack and check all items. Inspect for damage during shipping. Contact supplier if parts are damaged or missing.
NOTE: Keep shipping carton and packaging for potential returns. Packaging is recyclable; dispose of according to local regulations.
3. Proper Use
The equipment is designed for cutting lawn edges and small garden grass areas. It can also be used to trim small hedges and shrubs.
This tool is for private/hobby gardens, not for public facilities, parks, sports centers, roadways, farms, or forestry.
Warning! It is prohibited to use the tool to chop material for composting due to potential danger.
Use only for prescribed purpose. Any other use is misuse, and the user/operator is liable for any resulting damage or injury.
This equipment is not designed for commercial, trade, or industrial use.

5. Before Starting the Equipment
5.1 Charging the Battery (Fig. 2)
Connect to power supply (DC 5V, 500mA to 2000mA), e.g., mobile phone charger or USB port.
LED indicator: Red when charging, Green when fully charged.
Charging time: Approx. 2.0-3.0 hours.
Note: Do not operate the tool while it is charging.
To ensure long battery life, recharge promptly. Do not fully discharge the battery pack.
Warning!
The switching devices not installed by the manufacturer must not be removed or bypassed.
6. Operation
Clear the area of stones and other solid objects before cutting.
The safety lock-off (Fig. 1, item 2) prevents unintentional starting.
Warning!
Blades continue to move for a few seconds after switching OFF. Turn OFF and wait for blades to stop completely before adjusting or cleaning.
Caution!
Never touch the blade rail while the tool is in operation. Be aware of sharp edges even when the tool is not in use. Do not touch rotating blades.
Switching On (Fig. 3)
Activate the safety lock-off (Fig. 3, item 1) by pressing it, then press the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 3, item 2) simultaneously.
Switching Off
Release the ON/OFF switch.
6.1 Cutting Grass
Glide the grass cutter above the ground. Best results on dry lawn. Recharge when cutting performance drops.
6.2 Trimming Hedges
Use for small hedges and shrubs. Hold tool tilted. Cut sides from bottom up, then the top.
Watch for foreign objects in hedges that could damage blades.
6.4 Changing the Blade (See Fig. 4-7)
Warning! Risk of injury!
Remove the safety key from the tool before changing blades.
The shears come with two interchangeable blades: hedge trimmer blade (Fig. 4) for hedges/shrubs, and grass shear blade (Fig. 5) for finer detail on grass/hedges.
To fit or change blade:
- Hold the tool by the head.
- Press and hold both left and right blade release buttons simultaneously.
- Remove the blade mechanism by pulling down the blade rear box (Fig. 6).
- Press the blade release button, insert the desired blade into the motor housing base until the blade rear box locks into position (Fig. 7).
7. Cleaning, Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
Keep safety devices, air vents, and motor housing free of dirt and dust. Wipe with a clean cloth or blow with compressed air at low pressure.
Clean immediately after use. Use a moist cloth and mild soap. Avoid cleaning agents or solvents. Ensure no water enters the device.
A few drops of oil (e.g., sewing machine oil) can improve blade performance. Do not apply grease to blades.
Remove grass remnants and dirt from between blades for constant exact cutting.
Caution!
Never clean the tool under running water or with a high-pressure washer.
Store the tool in a dry, frost-proof place, inaccessible to children.
7.2 Maintenance
Keep blades sharp. Level off any jags or ridges. Clean thoroughly before and after use.
No internal parts require additional maintenance.
8. Disposal and Recycling
The unit is supplied in protective packaging. This packaging is raw material and can be reused or returned to the raw material system.
The unit and accessories are made of metal and plastic. Dispose of defective components as special waste according to local regulations.
Battery Disposal: Contact local authorities for disposal areas. Do not dispose of Li-ion batteries with domestic refuse. Do not dispose of by burning (risk of explosion). ?
