Welcome to your new Mudi Portable 4G LTE Router. This guide will help you set it up quickly.
Setting Up Your Mudi Router
Step 1: Insert Cards & Power On
Before powering on, insert your MicroSD card (optional) and Nano SIM card (optional) into the designated slots. Note: Hot-plugging for MicroSD and Nano SIM cards is not supported.
To turn on the router, press and hold the power button for more than 3 seconds. Upon powering up, your Mudi router will broadcast two Wi-Fi signals: 2.4G and 5G, both using the same SSID: GL-E750-xxx.
Step 2: Connect via Wi-Fi
On your device (laptop, smartphone, tablet), search for the Wi-Fi network named GL-E750-xxx. Connect to this network. The default Wi-Fi password is printed on the bottom label of your router.
Step 3: Connect via LAN (Optional)
Alternatively, you can connect your computer directly to the router using an Ethernet cable. Plug one end of the cable into the LAN port of the USB-C port replicator and the other end into your computer.
Step 4: Set Up Router
Open a web browser on a connected device and navigate to http://192.168.8.1. This will take you to the router's setup page where you can choose your preferred language and configure settings.

Router Components
The Mudi router features the following ports and buttons:
- USB-C port replicator: For power and data connectivity.
- Power port: Connect the power adapter here.
- Ethernet port (LAN): For wired network connections.
- USB2.0 port: For connecting USB devices.
- Mode switch: To change operating modes.
- Power button: To turn the router on/off.
- 0.96-inch OLED display: Shows status information.
- MicroSD card slot: For optional MicroSD card storage.
- Nano SIM card slot: For optional Nano SIM card connectivity.
- Reset button: Used for network repair or factory reset.
Repair / Reset
If you encounter issues accessing the setup page or connecting to the router, you can use the reset button with a pin:
- Press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds, then release to repair your network connection.
- Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds, then release to reset the router to its factory default settings. All user data will be erased.

Warranty Information
GL Technologies provides a one-year limited warranty for routers and a three-month limited warranty for accessories. Additional warranty periods may apply based on local laws.
It is highly recommended to use the included 5V/2A power adapter. The warranty will be voided if damage occurs due to failure to follow instructions, modification of internal components (PCBA, case), use of third-party firmware, or improper use (e.g., incorrect voltage, extreme temperatures, water damage, dropping).
