Setting Up Your GL-MT3000 / Beryl AX Router
Follow these steps to get your GLiNet Beryl AX (AX3000 WiFi 6 Router) up and running.
Step 1: Power On
When powered up, your router will broadcast both 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi signals with the SSIDs: GL-MT3000-xxx and GL-MT3000-xxx-5G. A solid white light indicates the router is working well.
Connect the power cable to the router's power port.
Step 2: Connect via Wi-Fi
You can connect to the router's Wi-Fi network in two ways:
- Scan QR Code: Scan the QR code printed on the bottom of the router to connect.
- Manual Connection: Manually search for and connect to the SSID "GL-MT3000-xxx". Then, enter the default password printed on the router.

Step 3: Connect via LAN
Alternatively, connect your computer to the router using an Ethernet cable plugged into the LAN port.
Step 4: Set Up Router
Open a web browser on your connected computer and navigate to http://192.168.8.1. You will be prompted to set up your router, starting by choosing your preferred language.

Repair / Reset Instructions
If you encounter issues accessing the web-based setup page or connecting to the router, you can use the Reset button:
- Repair Network: Press and hold the Reset button for 3 seconds, then release. The indicator light will turn blue and flash slowly until your network recovers.
- Factory Reset: Press and hold the Reset button for 10 seconds, then release. The indicator light will turn blue and flash rapidly. All data will be cleared when the light becomes solid blue.

Warranty Information
GLiNet provides a one-year limited warranty for routers and a three-month limited warranty for accessories. Additional warranty terms may apply according to local law.
- It is highly recommended to use the included 5V/3A power adapter.
- This warranty is void if any damage to the router is caused by not following instructions, modifying the PCBA, components, or case, using third-party firmware, or inappropriate use (e.g., incorrect voltage input, high temperature, dropping, or immersion in water).
