How to Use
Charging the Receiver
Connect the included USB charging cable to the Micro USB port (DC IN) on the MPOW BH408A and to a USB power adapter or computer USB port. The LED indicator will show the charging status (e.g., red light while charging, turning blue or off when fully charged).
Pairing with Your Device
- Turn On: Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 3 seconds. The LED indicator will flash blue and red alternately, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- Enable Bluetooth: On your smartphone or tablet, go to Bluetooth settings and turn on Bluetooth.
- Select Device: Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "MPOW BH408A" from the list.
- Confirmation: Once successfully paired, the LED indicator on the MPOW BH408A will change to a steady blue or flash blue slowly.
Connecting to Your Audio System
Use the included 3.5mm audio cable to connect the AUX OUT port on the MPOW BH408A to the AUX IN port on your speaker, car stereo, or other audio system.
Playing Music
Once connected and paired, play music from your Bluetooth-enabled device. The audio will be transmitted wirelessly to the MPOW BH408A and then outputted to your connected audio system.
Troubleshooting
- Cannot Pair: Ensure the MPOW BH408A is in pairing mode (LED flashing blue and red). Try turning off other nearby Bluetooth devices that might be interfering. Restart both your phone and the MPOW BH408A.
- No Sound: Verify that the 3.5mm audio cable is securely connected to both the MPOW BH408A and your audio system. Check that the volume is turned up on your playback device and the audio system. Ensure the MPOW BH408A is paired correctly.
- Intermittent Audio: Ensure you are within the Bluetooth range (up to 10 meters / 33 feet). Minimize obstructions between your device and the MPOW BH408A.
