BEGA Aluminum Pole - Round Fixed Non-Tapered High EPA
Application
A round, non-tapered, aluminum pole with a fixed base. It is useful for mounting pole-top luminaires, floodlights, banners, or other accessories. This pole is designed for regions experiencing high wind speeds or requiring high EPA fixtures. It is recommended to consult a licensed structural engineer when specifying this pole. Poles must be unwrapped upon delivery and should not be stored in their packaging. Poles specified without pole tops require internal approval before release.
Materials & Specifications
- Extruded aluminum pole shaft
- 3" welded tenon
- Covered handhole with hardware and grounding provisions provided
- A356 aluminum alloy anchor base, heat-treated to T6 temper
- Aluminum nut covers
- Anchor bolts conform to ASTM F1554 Grade 55 with an L bend on one end and galvanized minimum 12" on the threaded end
- Anchor bolts are provided with (2) hex nuts and (2) flat washers
- Wall thickness: 0.156 inches
- Structural weight: 73.0 lbs
- Maximum Luminaire Weight: 62 lbs
Finish
All BEGA standard finishes are matte, textured powder coat with a minimum 3 mil thickness. The BEGA Unidure® finish offers superior fade protection in Black, Bronze, and Silver. BEGA standard White is a super durable polyester powder. Optionally available RAL, custom, and premium colors are provided in polyester powder and/or liquid paint.

Any changes or additions to standard BEGA pole offerings are considered modifications. Should a modification be required, the process is streamlined for initial design and specification. All modifications must be quoted and approved by BEGA North America prior to order placement.
