BEGA B14RHNS1 Aluminum Hinged Pole
Round, Non-Tapered Design for Outdoor Lighting Applications
Application
This is a round, non-tapered aluminum pole featuring a hinged base, designed for mounting pole-top luminaires, floodlights, banners, and other accessories. The hinged base facilitates easy access to pole-top equipment. It is recommended to consult a licensed structural engineer for specification. Poles should be unwrapped upon delivery and kept dry; avoid prolonged contact with packaging materials. Poles specified without pole tops require internal approval before release.
Materials & Specifications
Pole Shaft: Extruded aluminum with a 3" welded tenon.
Anchor Base: Two-piece aluminum cover with an A356 aluminum alloy anchor base, heat-treated to T6 temper.
Anchor Bolts: Conforms to ASTM F1554 Grade 55, featuring an L bend on one end and a minimum 12" galvanized threaded end. Includes (2) hex nuts and (2) flat washers.
Wall Thickness: 0.125 inches
Structural Weight: 30.0 lbs
Maximum Luminaire Weight: 50 lbs
Finish
BEGA standard finishes are matte, textured powder coat with a minimum 3 mil thickness. The BEGA Unidure® finish offers superior fade protection in Black, Bronze, and Silver. BEGA standard White is a super durable polyester powder. Custom colors, including RAL, are available via polyester powder or liquid paint.

Modifications
Any changes or additions to BEGA North America's standard pole offering not listed as accessories or options are considered modifications. All modifications require quoting and approval by BEGA North America prior to order placement.
Modification Categories:
- Modified Pole Height: Specify desired height.
- Power Receptacle - Nonstandard Location: GFCI at custom location, specify orientation and minimum height (18" A.F.G.).
- Vibration Dampener: Solution provided will vary depending on needs.
- Handhole: Must be 18" from GFCI. Options include default location (Orientation: 0°; Height: 18" A.F.G.) or custom location (specify orientation and height).
