Installation Steps
Follow these steps for a secure and proper installation:
Slimtop and Flushmount Installation Steps
- Preparation: Ensure the countertop opening is cut according to the specified dimensions.
- Sealant Application: Apply a continuous bead of sealant (e.g., silicone) around the edge of the countertop opening to create a watertight seal.
- Sink Placement: Carefully position the sink into the countertop opening.
- Securing the Sink: From underneath the countertop, attach and tighten the provided mounting clips to secure the sink firmly in place. Ensure clips engage correctly with the sink rim.
- Final Check: Verify the sink is level and securely fastened. Wipe away any excess sealant.
Undermount Installation Steps
- Countertop Preparation: The countertop must be prepared for undermount installation, typically with a routed recess for the sink rim.
- Sealant Application: Apply a continuous bead of sealant around the underside edge of the countertop opening where the sink will be mounted.
- Sink Positioning: Place the sink into the opening from below the countertop.
- Securing the Sink: Attach and tighten the mounting clips from underneath, securing the sink to the countertop. Use the provided templates or brackets as guides if necessary.
- Final Check: Ensure the sink is level and securely attached. Remove any excess sealant.

Care and Maintenance
To maintain the appearance and functionality of your Franke sink:
- ✔️ Use a soft cloth, running water, and mild detergent for cleaning.
- ❌ Avoid using abrasive sponges, steel wool, harsh chemicals, or abrasive cleaning agents, as these can damage the stainless steel surface.
A warning symbol ⚠️ indicates that placing hot pots directly onto the sink surface is not recommended.
