Security Camera Installation Guide
Installing the Model 1528 Security Camera
The Model 1528 is primarily designed as a Deal Drawer security camera assembly. It incorporates an 804-039P security camera and requires connection to a Model 1520 Lane Station. It can be mounted above the deal drawer or in other locations where in-bound video is required.
System Connections Overview
A connection diagram illustrates the setup. A 'POWER SUPPLY' connects to a 'LANE STATION' (located in a drive-up unit). The 'LANE STATION' is linked via a 'CAT 5' cable to a 'MODEL 1520 VIDEO ADD ON JACK'. The 'MODEL 1528 Deal Drawer Security Camera' is also connected via a 'CAT 5' cable to the same 'MODEL 1520 VIDEO ADD ON JACK'.
Installation
- Mark the mounting surface using the included template and drill pilot holes. Drill a 9/16” hole for the Cat 5 cable access.
- Loosen four screws to open the front panel. Run the CAT 5 cable from the rear of the 1528 camera assembly, through the hole made in Step 1, to the VIDEO ADD ON jack on the 1520.
- Secure the unit to the mounting surface using the screws provided. Close the front panel, noting the camera orientation indicated by a label inside the unit, and tighten the four panel screws.
Mounting Template Details
A '1528 Mounting Template' diagram illustrates the physical placement for the camera. It indicates four 'MOUNTING SCREW HOLES' for securing the unit. A central area shows the camera's mounting position, and a 'CAT 5 CABLE ACCESS HOLE' is marked for routing the cable.
