Technical Bulletin: New ST Mini Touch Panel Hardware

Date: October 16, 2024

Models: Variety of Models, Using ST1 Touch Panels, Between 2014-2022

Subject: New ST Mini Touch Panel Hardware Available, To Replace Older ST1 Type Touch Panels

Balboa Water Group and Master Spas have collaborated to develop new capacitive touch screen hardware, the ST Mini, as a direct replacement for aging ST1 touch panels (dating back to 2014). This initiative addresses component availability challenges with older designs.

Two versions of the ST Mini panel have been developed: a general trapezoid shape and a custom "watch" shape. These panels are designed to use the original OEM overlay specific to the spa model.

New ST Mini Capacitive Touch Panels:

These new panels are compatible with standard BP spa systems, Challenger VSPs, and are Clim8Zone Heat Pump ready, offering specific menu options when a compatible control system recognizes the heat pump.

Replacement ST1 panels will increasingly offer the ST Mini panels as an alternative option. For questions, contact Customer Service at (800) 860-7727 or CustomerService@MasterSpas.com.
