Features

Getting Started

Locate Water Dispenser

  1. Place the water cooler on a flat, level surface in a cool, shaded location near a grounded wall outlet.
  2. Ensure the back of the unit is at least 4 inches (10 cm) away from the wall for proper ventilation.

Install Water Bottle

  1. Open the dispenser door (slide upwards).
  2. Place a fresh bottle outside the cabinet.
  3. Clean the outside of the new bottle with a cloth.
  4. Carefully un-package the Bottle Adaptor assembly, avoiding touching the tube.
  5. Remove the security label/seal from the bottle cap (if applicable). Install the Bottle Adaptor assembly (Spike Cap with tube) through the bottle cap and press down to secure. Do not remove the bottle cap.
  6. Ensure the tube is close to the bottom of the bottle.
  7. Remove the red protective cap from the blue tube of the SmartFlo™ Water Cartridge and install it onto the bottle adaptor assembly.
  8. Slide the bottle into the cabinet and close the door (slide downwards).
  9. Place a container under the faucet and dispense cold water until a smooth stream is dispensed (may take up to 1 minute).

Activate Heating Functions

  1. Ensure the water system has been primed.
  2. Turn on the Energy Saving Switch (red color) located behind the bottle access door.
  3. To disable the heating function, turn off the Energy Saving Switch.
  4. Do not draw water for approximately 30 minutes to allow water to heat or cool. Optimum temperatures will be reached after several hours.

Dispensing Water

Cold Water Dispense

The cold water temperature is preset between 39.2-50°F (4 to 10°C). Optimum temperatures are reached after several hours of operation. During this time, the compressor may run continuously, which is normal.

  1. Position a glass or container below the water outlet.
  2. Depress the cold water lever downwards to start the flow.
  3. Release the lever once the desired fill level is achieved.

Hot Water Dispense

The hot water temperature is preset between 168.8-197.6°F (76 to 92°C). Optimum temperatures are reached after 15-20 minutes.

  1. Position a glass or container below the water outlet.
  2. Push the red safety button and depress the hot water lever downwards to start the flow.
  3. Release the lever once the desired fill level is achieved.

CAUTION: This unit dispenses water at temperatures that can cause severe burns. Supervise children and ensure they do not play with the appliance.

Bottle Change

A flashing red light above the cold water lever indicates the water bottle is getting low and needs replacement.

  1. Open the dispenser door (slide upwards).
  2. Slide the empty bottle out of the cabinet.
  3. Place a fresh bottle outside the cabinet.
  4. Clean the outside of the new bottle with a cloth. Remove the security label/seal from the bottle cap (if applicable).
  5. Carefully remove the Bottle Adaptor assembly from the empty bottle by raising the end of the tube into the Spike Cap. Avoid touching the tube.
  6. Install the Spike Cap through the new bottle's cap (do not remove the bottle cap) and press down to secure.
  7. Push the tube through the Spike Cap until it is close to the bottom of the bottle.
  8. Slide the bottle into the cabinet and close the door.
  9. Dispense cold water until a smooth stream is achieved.
