Important Safety Information: This unit dispenses water at temperatures that can cause severe burns. It is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

The customer acknowledges that liquids can cause damage to surfaces and takes responsibility for cooler placement. The customer is responsible for addressing drips, leaks, or spillages. For technical questions or problems, contact the local water company or water dispenser supplier.

Setup Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preparation

Remove all packaging and shipping materials. Position the dispenser at least 4 inches (10 cm) away from the wall for ventilation and within 5 feet of a 115V AC receptacle. Ensure the dispenser stands upright for 24 hours before proceeding. DO NOT plug in the cooler yet.

  2. Step 2: Open Bottle Compartment

Open the bottle compartment by lifting upwards on the door window.

  3. Step 3: Install Filters

Install filters (not provided) onto the metal bracket using the provided mounting holes.

  4. Step 4: Connect Water Supply

Connect the mains water supply using the provided 1/4 inch supply tube. Route the tube through the condenser bushing and affix it to the condenser. If using filters, connect the line to the filters before routing to the reservoir white cap fitting.

Water Inlet Pressure Requirements: Minimum 20PSI (0.138MPa), Maximum 80PSI (0.552MPa). A pressure reducing valve is required if pressure exceeds 80PSI.

Ensure tubing is not kinked or cut. If no filtration system is installed, the water line can connect directly to the POU system's water line. Ensure the indicator is GREEN; if RED, slide the lever forward to reset.

  5. Step 5: Connect Reservoir Adaptor

Carefully push the reservoir adaptor corrugated tube through the reservoir cover until the blue elbow is flush with the cover and the tube end touches the bottom of the reservoir. Locate the SmartFlo™ Plus water supply tube dangling from the mid shelf. Remove the red protective silicone cap from the blue fitting on this tube. Connect the corrugated tube to the reservoir adaptor blue elbow, pushing firmly with a slight turning action for a tight connection.

  6. Step 6: Initial Water Flow Check

With the POU Assembly outside the cooler compartment on a flat surface, turn on the water supply and check for leaks. Ensure the reservoir is filling. DO NOT turn on the Hot Tank Power Switch yet (ensure it is in the OFF position).

Electrical Safety Note: For protection against shock, this unit MUST be connected to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) outlet. DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD. Doing so may result in personal injury or property damage and will void manufacturer warranties.

  7. Step 7: Priming the System

Once the reservoir is at least 1/2 full, slide the POU Assembly into the cabinet and close the lower door. The system will automatically prime, taking approximately 90 seconds. You should hear the SmartFlo™ Plus water pump running. If not, confirm the unit is plugged into an active power supply.

  8. Step 8: Dispense and Power On

After the pump stops priming, dispense 2-3 oz of water by placing a cup under the dispense nozzle and depressing the hot and cold levers separately for a few seconds each. The Hot Tank Power Switch can now be turned to the ON position.

  9. Step 9: Optimal Temperature

For best results, do not draw water until it has had time to heat and chill to optimum temperatures. This may take 1-2 hours depending on room temperature.

Final Check: Ensure the cooler stands upright for 24 hours before plugging it in. Read all instructions completely before setting up for operation.
