Hardware Overview

Familiarize yourself with the router's components:

SIM Card Slot: Located on the side/back, used to insert your 4G LTE SIM card. ?
Power Port: Located on the back, for connecting the power adapter. ?
WAN/LAN Ports: Ethernet ports on the back. One port can be configured as WAN or LAN, and the others are typically LAN ports for wired devices. ?
Reset Button: A small recessed button, usually on the back or bottom. Press and hold to restore factory settings. ?
WPS Button: Allows for quick connection of WPS-compatible devices. ?
LED Indicators: Lights on the front/top indicating power, internet connection status, WiFi activity, and signal strength. ?

Setup Procedure

Insert SIM Card:
Use the ejector tool to open the SIM card tray. Place your 4G LTE SIM card into the tray correctly and then insert the tray back into the router's SIM card slot. Ensure the SIM card is activated and has a data plan.
Connect Power:
Connect the provided power adapter to the router's power port and plug it into an electrical outlet. The router will power on automatically.
Connect Your Device:
You can connect your computer or other devices in two ways:
- Wired Connection: Use the included Ethernet cable to connect your computer to one of the router's LAN ports. ?
- Wireless Connection: Look for the default WiFi network name (SSID) and password printed on the router's label. Connect your wireless device to this network.
Access the Web Interface:
Open a web browser on your connected device and enter the router's default IP address, typically 192.168.8.1 or cudy.net, into the address bar. You will be prompted to log in. The default username and password are often found on the router's label.
Initial Configuration:
Follow the on-screen instructions in the web interface to set up your WiFi network name (SSID) and password. You may also need to configure APN settings if your SIM card requires them (check with your mobile carrier).

LED Indicators Explained

LED Name	Color	Status	Description
Power	Green	Solid	The router is powered on and working normally.
Internet	Green	Solid	Connected to the internet.
Internet	Red	Solid	No internet connection. Check SIM card and APN settings.
Internet	Flashing	Connecting to the internet.
4G Signal	Green	Solid/Flashing	Indicates the strength of the 4G signal. More solid lights mean a stronger signal.
WiFi	Green	Solid/Flashing	Indicates WiFi is enabled and active. Flashing means data is being transmitted.

Troubleshooting & Support

If you encounter issues:

Ensure the SIM card is inserted correctly and activated.
Verify APN settings with your mobile carrier.
Restart the router by unplugging and replugging the power adapter.
If problems persist, reset the router to factory defaults by pressing and holding the reset button for about 10 seconds.
