Troubleshooting
Problem | Possible Factors | Solution |
---|---|---|
Condensation on the screen | Air condenses inside the screen due to temperature difference. | The fog disappears when the temperature rises, or leave it to stand for a period. |
Water meter is leaking | Filter washer lost or damaged; Faucet connection not hand-tight. | - Check if the filter washer is in place. - Check if the filter washer is clean and undamaged. - Ensure the faucet connection is hand-tight. |
Water meter does not count water flow | Counting flywheel not rotating properly or filter is clogged. | - Stones or dirt blocking the flywheel: Clean the flywheel. - Damaged flywheel: Contact customer service for replacement. - Clogged filter: Clean or replace the filter. |
LCD screen does not display | Battery is dead or not installed properly. | - Replace with a new CR2032 battery. - Ensure the battery compartment is clean and the battery is installed correctly. - Tightly screw the battery cap. |
Water meter does not count correctly | Water meter counting has ±5% tolerance. | - Ensure the counting unit (liter/gallon) is correct. - Install a garden hose on the outlet and ensure the water flow is at least 0.6 GPM (2.5 LPM). |
Display always automatically resets to zero | Consumption mode counts the last-time water usage and resets automatically after water flow stops for more than 1 minute. | To count continuous water usage, switch to Total mode. Total mode will not automatically reset unless manually reset. |
