The automatic water timer features a dial for program selection, an LCD screen, and several buttons for operation. Key components include:
- 1. DIAL: Rotate to set up watering programs.
- 2. OK BUTTON: Press to confirm setups.
- 3. - BUTTON: Press to set up time, system.
- 4. MANUAL BUTTON: Press to turn timer on/off manually.
- 5. +/DELAY BUTTON: Press to set up time, system, delay watering.
- 6. OUTLET: Connection for the hose.
- 7. LCD SCREEN: Displays current time, program status, and settings.
- 8. INLET: Connects to the faucet.
- 9. FILTER: Located inside the inlet to prevent debris.
The timer operates in various modes: AUTO (according to preset programs), OFF (timer is off), TIME (set current time), P1/P2/P3 (set up 3 independent watering programs), INTVL (interval program), WEEK (weekly program).
Icons used on the LCD screen represent:
- ?: Watering program runs on this day.
- ?️: Manual watering.
- ☁️: Delay watering.

Warranty

Warnings
- Only use with clear cold water.
- When expecting freezing temperatures, remove the timer from the hose/faucet and store it indoors to avoid potential freeze damage.
- The filter can prevent dirt and extend product lifetime. Clean the filter regularly and replace it if worn.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
- Pull out the battery tray on the back of the timer.
- Insert two AAA alkaline batteries and replace the tray.
- Ensure batteries are fully inserted with correct directions.
Low Battery Indicator: ?. Replace with new batteries if the low battery indicator displays.
TIMER SETUP
SET CURRENT TIME
- Turn DIAL to TIME.
- Press +/- buttons to choose 12H or 24H format.
- Press OK button to move to hour/minute setup.
- Press +/- buttons to set the current hour and minute.
- Press OK button to move to day setup.
- Press +/- buttons to set the current day (Monday to Sunday).
- Turn dial to save changes.
Example display: 12H, 12:30PM, Tuesday.
SET WATERING PROGRAMS
Programs P1, P2, and P3 can be set up independently.
- Turn DIAL to P1.
- Press +/- buttons to choose watering mode: INTVL (Interval), WEEK (Weekly), or OFF.
- If INTVL or WEEK mode is chosen:
- Press OK button to move to START TIME setup.
- Press +/- buttons to set the desired watering start time. Press OK button to move to HOW LONG setup.
- Press +/- buttons to set the desired watering duration. Press OK button to move to HOW OFTEN setup.
- For INTVL mode (Step 3 continued):
- Press +/- buttons to set desired watering frequency from 1 hour to 30 days.
Example: Watering starts at 5:00PM, runs 15mins every 12 hours.
- For WEEK mode (Step 3 continued):
- Press + button to select desired watering days (Monday to Sunday).
- Press - button to unselect undesired watering days.
Example: Watering starts at 6:00PM, runs 15mins on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
- If OFF mode is chosen in step 2, proceed to step 7.
- Turn dial to save changes.
- Repeat steps 1-7 to set up P2 and P3.
Notes:
- In INTVL mode, if "HOW LONG" duration is greater than "HOW OFTEN" interval, it will be automatically skipped.
- In WEEK mode, at least one watering day must be selected in "HOW OFTEN".
AUTO WATERING
After P1/P2/P3 are set up, turn DIAL to AUTO. The timer will start automatically.
- When watering is off: LCD screen flashes between the current time and the start time & duration of the next watering program. Press OK button to check all 3 programs' setups.
- When watering is on: LCD screen flashes between the current time and the remaining watering time. ? lights up.
MANUAL WATERING
Manual watering allows watering without interrupting preset programs.
- With DIAL at AUTO and watering off, press MANUAL BUTTON (?️) to enter manual watering setup.
- Press +/- buttons to set manual watering duration. Press OK button to confirm (? lights up).
- Manual watering starts. LCD screen flashes between the current time and the remaining watering time.
- To cancel manual watering, press MANUAL BUTTON or turn DIAL to OFF and back to AUTO.
Example display: Current time 10:12AM, timer on manual mode, water will run 9mins.
DELAY WATERING
Delay watering postpones watering programs for a period of time.
- With DIAL at AUTO and watering off, long press DELAY/+ BUTTON (3 secs) to enter delay watering setup (☁️ lights up).
- Press +/- buttons to select a delay of 24hrs, 48hrs, or 72hrs. Press OK button to confirm.
- Delay watering starts. LCD screen flashes between the current time and the remaining delay time.
- To cancel delay watering, turn DIAL to OFF and back to AUTO.
Example display: Current time 2:26PM, timer on delay mode, will resume after 23hrs 58mins.
STOP WATERING
Turn DIAL to OFF. The timer will remain off.
Example display: OFF.
TROUBLESHOOTING
TIMER DOES NOT WATER AS PRESET. CHECK IF:
- Timer DIAL is set to AUTO. Hose faucet is on.
- TIME is set to the correct time (AM and PM).
- Program mode, start time, duration (HOW LONG), and frequency (HOW OFTEN) for all 3 programs (P1/P2/P3) are set as desired.
- Delay watering is not active.
HOSE CONNECTION LEAKS. CHECK IF:
- The filter of the timer and hose are both installed correctly.
- The faucet or hose has a 3/4" NH thread.
- Water pressure is within the specified range (8-120PSI / 0.5-8Bar).
TIMER VALVE WON'T TURN ON/OFF. RESET THE VALVE:
- Attach the timer to a faucet and open the faucet to maximum.
- Manually turn the timer on for more than 5 seconds, then turn it off.
- Repeat this process more than 5 times until water flows properly.
TIMER DECREASE WATER PRESSURE:
This timer uses a solenoid valve, which technically decreases water pressure. Restmo also offers ball-valve timers that do not decrease water pressure. If unsatisfied with the reduced water pressure, contact Restmo for details on ball-valve timers.
