Battery Installation
Step 1: Pull out the battery tray on the back of the flow meter.
Step 2: Insert two AAA alkaline batteries and replace the tray.
Step 3: Ensure batteries are fully inserted by correct directions.
Note:
- DO NOT use wet hands to open the battery tray. Always keep your hands dry when installing batteries.
- Replace with new batteries if the low battery indicator [Battery Icon] displays.
Device Pairing
Step 1: Download and install the Smart Life APP. Log in or create your account. [Google Play Button] [App Store Button]
Step 2: If the device has not been connected yet, the LCD of the Pair Mode will display 'Uncon' and [Bluetooth Icon] flashes. If the device has already been connected, the LCD of the Pair Mode will display the current time. Long press the button [Button Icon] until the display turns to 'Uncon'.
Step 3: Click "+" and "Add Device" through the Smart Life APP. Pair the "RESTMO BT Water Flow Meter".
App Control
On the Smart Life APP, you can view single water usage records within 24 hours and total year water usage up to 3 years. The app can save up to 100 records if the device is disconnected. When the data records exceed 100, the earliest records will be automatically cleared.
The app displays:

- Water Flow Rate
- Single Water Usage (last time)
- Total Water Usage Record (up to 3 years)
- Total Usage
- Single Water Usage Log (24 hours)
Device Setup/Remove
Device Setup:
- Flow Unit: Select L or GAL.
- Backlight Setting: Select ON or OFF for the working period.
- Rotate Setting: Select UP, DOWN, or AUTO.
- Time Format: Select 12H or 24H.
Note: When Rotate Setting is AUTO, the screen orientation will be automatically changed according to gravity.
Device Information: Access Device Information, Tap-to-Run and Automations, Create Group, Share Device, Message notification Settings, Help Center, Add to Home Screen, and Device Update.
Note: Clicking "Remove Device" can clear the data and remove the device from your Smart Life account.
Device Installation
The diagram shows the Restmo Smart Water Flow Meter being installed in two configurations: directly connected to a faucet and connected to a hose with a spray nozzle. Ensure correct water flow direction.
Operation
- Short press the button to change measure modes.
- Long press the button (3secs) at flow mode to switch measurement units from gallon to liter.
- Long press the button (3secs) at consumption/avg/total modes to reset data.
- Long press the button (3secs) at pair mode to activate device pairing.
The LCD screen goes to sleep if there is no operation or water flow within 1 minute.
Flow Mode
Flow mode displays the real-time water flow rate. Long press the button to switch measurement units from gallon to liter. If the water flow rate is higher than 11 GPM (41.9 LPM), it will display H.H or HH.H.

Consumption Mode
Consumption mode displays the last-time water consumption. Long press the button to reset. This mode counts the last-time water usage and always resets to zero automatically after water flow stops for more than 1 minute.

Reset Consumption
Daily Mode
Daily mode displays today's water consumption. Long press the button to reset.

Reset Daily
Total Mode
Total mode displays the total water consumption. Long press the button to reset. Total mode will never reset until manually reset. The data will be recorded even if the battery is changed.

Pair Mode
Pair mode can pair the device with a smartphone. When the device is paired, it will display the current time. Long press the button to activate device pairing. When the device is unpaired, it will display "Uncon".

Troubleshooting
Problem | Possible factors | Solution may help |

Cannot connect the device | • Bluetooth of smart phone is off. • Smart Life APP is not latest version. • Device is already connected with another smart phone. | • Turn on the Bluetooth of the smart phone. • Download the latest version Smart Life APP via Apple or Google APP store. • Press the device button and turn it to Pair Mode. Water meter does not count water flow | The counting flywheel does not rotate properly or filter is clogged. | • Stones or dirt block the flywheel. If so, clean the stones or dirt. • The flywheel is damaged. Contact customer service for a new replacement. • Check if the filter is clogged, if so, clean or replace the filter. |
LCD screen does not display | Battery is dead or is not installed properly. | • Replace with 2 new AAA Alkaline Batteries. • Make sure the battery compartment is clean and battery is installed with correct direction. • Tightly screw the battery cap. |
Water meter does not count correctly | Water meter counting has ±5% tolerance. | Here are tips to test the counting performance: • Make sure the counting unit (liter/gallon) is correct. • Must install a garden hose on the outlet and make sure the water flow is 0.3GPM (1LPM) at least. |
Display always automatically resets to zero | Consumption mode counts the last-time water usage and always resets to zero automatically after water flow stops more than 1 minute. | To count continuous water usage, switch to total mode. Total mode will not automatically reset to zero unless manually reset. |
Display keeps H.HH or HH.H. | Water flow rate is higher than 11GPM (41.9LPM). | Turn down the faucet. |
