Main functions of products

  1. "Find My" network location: When the device exceeds the Bluetooth distance from the phone, the device cannot be connected in the search App. Select "Lost Mode - Enabled". Enter your contact phone number, etc. If the device has been disconnected from your phone for more than a while, and there is another Apple device near the device, you will receive notifications and the latest location of the smart tag.
  2. Play the sound: Mobile phone and device in Bluetooth mode (generally about 20 meters). In the "Find My" App, click to play the sound. The device will issue a prompt sound, helping you quickly find the nearby smart tag.

Frequently asked questions

  1. When can the device be targeted by other Apple devices? When the device is separated from the owner, the Find My Network uses Bluetooth sensors on millions of Apple products to report the location of a lost Apple device nearby. When an Apple device on the network detects a lost smart tag device nearby, it reports the approximate location of the lost item to the owner of the device via the Internet.
  2. How to prevent devices from being used for malicious tracking? When someone else's device incorporates your belongings and tracks them for more than a while, you are alerted in two ways: If you have an iPhone, iPad, etc., Apple devices, you will be alerted on the Apple device (iOS 14 or iPadOS 14 and later versions). If you don't have an Apple device, and if someone else's smart tag leaves its owner, it emits a cue tone to alert you when it moves. Of course, there is no need to worry if your friends happen to be carrying the equipment, or if many people on the subway you take have it. Because as long as the device does not leave the owner, such reminders are not triggered.
  3. How to protect my privacy? Only you can see your device's location. Your location data and history will never be stored in the smart tag. The device that delivers your smart tag location data also remains anonymous, and location data is encrypted at every step of the search. So, Apple doesn't know where your device is or who helps find it.
  4. How to replace the battery for the equipment? You need to use the tool included in the product accessories to gently pry the upper cover to remove the battery. Battery life is usually one year.
  5. What is a "Find My" network? How does it work? Apple's Find My network provides an easy, secure way to find compatible personal items on maps using iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, the "Find My" App on Mac, or Find Items apps on Apple Watch. Simply use your compatible product with Apple's "Find My" App, i.e., view it with your paired Apple device. If your item is lost, you can set it to Lost mode, allowing it to display messages and contact information to anyone who finds it. The Find My network is encrypted and anonymous, so no one else, including Apple, can view its location.

How to replace the battery?
