2. EP760
The EP760 is an energy storage photovoltaic grid-connected inverter that handles photovoltaic input, grid-connected charging, and discharging. It is compatible only with the B500 BESS and must work with it. The inverter has not been tested to AS/NZS 4777.2:2020 for multiple phase inverter combinations, so such combinations should not be used, or external devices should be used in accordance with AS/NZS 4777.1 requirements.
2.1 Working Modes
The EP760 offers four operating modes:
- Mode 1: Combines with an existing grid-connected PV system via AC coupling. Prioritizes PV power for the load, charges batteries with excess power, and feeds surplus energy back to the grid.
- Mode 2: In the absence of a PV system, the load is powered by the backup battery. When the battery charge is depleted, the system switches to grid power.
- Mode 3: When the grid is disconnected, the PV and backup batteries work together to power the load.
- Mode 4: Batteries are charged from the grid. The BLUETTI App allows flexible setting of charging time and power.
2.2 Features
- Solar Energy Optimization: Triple MPPT charge controllers maximize solar input and store energy in LiFePO4 batteries. Works with grid-connected PV systems.
- Grid-Connected Flexibility: Allows grid charging, seamless backup power during outages, and grid power bypassing to supply home appliances directly.
- App Control & Monitoring: Provides various ports (RS485, Ethernet, Bluetooth, WLAN, CAN) for monitoring and configuration via the BLUETTI App.
- Enhanced Connectivity: Offers interfaces for external devices, including CT for energy usage monitoring, COM for smart meter integration, and DRMs for diesel generator compatibility.
- Seamless Device Integration: Designed with I/O ports for effortless connection with external devices.
- Battery Expansion: Supports 2-4 battery packs (B500) for expanded capacity.
