1. Important Safety Instructions

Hearing Safety

To avoid hearing damage, limit the time you use the headphones at high volume and set the volume to a safe level. The higher the volume, the shorter the safe listening time.

Ensure you follow the instructions below while using your headphones:

  • Listen at a volume that is comfortable for reasonable periods.
  • Be careful not to continuously increase the volume as your hearing adjusts.
  • Do not turn the volume up so high that you cannot hear what is around you.
  • Exercise caution or temporarily discontinue use in potentially hazardous situations.
  • Excessive sound pressure from headphones and earphones can cause hearing loss.
  • Using both earbuds while driving is not recommended and may be illegal in some areas.
  • For your safety, avoid distractions from music or phone calls when in traffic or other potentially hazardous environments.

General Information

To avoid damage or malfunction:

Caution

  • Do not expose the headphones to excessive heat.
  • Do not drop the headphones.
  • The headphones must not be exposed to dripping or splashing. (Refer to the IP rating of the specific product)
  • Do not allow the headphones to be submerged in water.
  • Do not charge the headphones when the connector or socket is wet.
  • Do not use any cleaning agent containing alcohol, ammonia, benzene, or abrasive substances.
  • Use a clean, damp cloth to regularly clean your headphones – especially the sound channels and microphone openings – and avoid accumulation of substances like sweat or earwax.
  • If sweat or water droplets remain in the sound channels, air vents, or microphone openings, the sound level may temporarily decrease or cease. This is not a malfunction. Use a soft, damp cloth to dry the headphones thoroughly. Alternatively, remove the ear tips, point the ear canals downwards, and tap gently about five times with a dry cloth or similar object to remove any moisture inside.
  • Ensure the headphones are completely dry before charging and using them. Avoid using alcohol swabs or other cleaning substances.
  • The built-in battery must not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunlight, fire, or the like.
  • Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced incorrectly. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
  • To achieve the specific IP rating, the charging port cover must be closed.
  • Disposing of a battery in a fire or hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting a battery, may result in an explosion.
  • Leaving a battery in an extremely high ambient temperature environment may result in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
  • A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure may result in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
  • Replacing a battery with the wrong type risks severely damaging the headphones and battery (e.g., in the case of some lithium battery types).
  • If the headphones are not used for a long period, the rechargeable battery will start to lose its charge. To avoid this loss, please fully charge the battery at least once every three months.
  • To avoid the risk of fire, the device should only be supplied by an external power source that complies with the PS1 standard (with an output capacity smaller than or equal to 15W).

Humidity and Operating/Storage Temperatures

  • Store in a place where the temperature is between -20°C and 50°C with relative humidity up to 90%.
  • Operate in a place where the temperature is between 0°C and 45°C with relative humidity up to 90%.
  • Battery life may be shorter under high or low temperature conditions.
