Product Overview

This manual provides instructions for the Philips Hue Milliskin recessed spotlight.

Included in the box:

• A: Recessed spotlight housing
• B: Mounting bracket

Not included (required for installation):

• Drill
• Hole saw (70-75mm diameter)
• Pencil
• Screwdrivers (Phillips and flathead)
• Wire strippers
• Wire connectors

Installation Instructions

Important Safety Information:

• Ensure the power is turned OFF at the circuit breaker before installation. ?
• Follow all local electrical codes.

Step 1: Prepare the Ceiling Opening

• Use a hole saw with a diameter of 70-75mm to cut a hole in the ceiling.
• Ensure a minimum clearance of 10cm (a) and 30cm (b) around the opening for ventilation and wiring.

Step 2: Prepare the Recessed Housing

• Open the recessed housing.
• Insert the GU10 bulb (not included) into the socket. Ensure it is the correct type (GU10) and does not exceed the maximum wattage (6W).
• Close the housing.

Step 3: Connect the Wiring

• Feed the power cables through the opening.
• Connect the wires according to the diagram, ensuring correct polarity. Use wire connectors for secure connections.

Step 4: Mount the Spotlight

• Insert the recessed spotlight into the ceiling opening.
• Secure the spotlight using the mounting bracket and screws.

Step 5: Final Connections and Testing

• Connect the spotlight to the power supply.
• Turn the power back ON at the circuit breaker.
• Test the light to ensure it is functioning correctly.

Step 6: Adjusting the Spotlight

• The spotlight can be tilted up to 20 degrees.
