Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Cabinets for Connection
Align two METOD cabinet boxes side-by-side. Insert the connecting rails (Part 10108265) into the pre-drilled holes or slots on the cabinet sides. Secure these initial rails using the specified screws (e.g., Parts 100707, 113055, 10098905, 151020) as illustrated. The diagrams indicate precise placement and quantities for each screw.
Step 2: Attach Main Connecting Rail
Position the primary connecting rail (Part 10108265) across the cabinet assembly. Use screws (e.g., Parts 10046561, 113055) to firmly attach the rail to the cabinet structure. Ensure it is flush and stable.
Step 3: Drilling Pilot Holes
If necessary for your specific installation, use a Ø 3.5 mm drill bit to create pilot holes. The diagrams may indicate specific locations where pilot holes are recommended for optimal screw engagement.
Step 4: Cabinet Side Panel Orientation
This step visually represents a cabinet side panel, possibly showing its correct orientation or preparation for attachment to the main structure.
Step 5: Continue Securing Components
Proceed with attaching any remaining components or reinforcing the structure. Use the provided screws to secure all connections as shown in the detailed diagrams.
Step 6: Final Assembly Check
Verify that all parts are correctly assembled and securely fastened. The final diagram shows the completed METOD unit with the connecting rail integrated.
Step 7: Measurement and Clearance Guidelines
Adhere to the specified measurements and clearances for proper installation. Key dimensions include 150 mm, 50 mm, and 26 mm. Ensure a minimum clearance of 20 cm is maintained around the unit, as indicated.
Step 8: Wall Mounting Considerations
Pay attention to the minimum clearance requirement of 20 cm, particularly if the unit is to be wall-mounted. This ensures adequate space for functionality or maintenance.
