Installation as Ceiling Light
This section details the process of mounting the Q-VITO light as a ceiling fixture.
Step 1: Prepare Ceiling Mount
A mounting plate needs to be attached to the ceiling. This requires drilling holes of approximately Ø8mm. Secure the plate using the provided screws and wall plugs.
Step 2: Attach Fixture
Carefully attach the light fixture to the prepared mounting plate. The diagram shows a sequence of actions, including a caution symbol (⚠️) and a cross symbol (❌) indicating the need for careful handling, followed by a checkmark (✔️) signifying successful attachment.
Electrical Connection
This section describes connecting the light to a 230V/50Hz power supply.
Step 6: Wire Connections
Connect the main power supply wires (Live 'L' and Neutral 'N') to the designated terminals in the provided connector block. The diagram illustrates the correct wire routing and connection sequence.
Step 7-10: Secure Wiring
Ensure the fixture's wires are correctly connected to the ceiling's electrical supply via the terminal block. Pay attention to wire polarity: 'a' typically corresponds to Neutral (N) and 'b' to Live (L).
Remote Control Setup
This section covers pairing the remote control with the light fixture.
Step 11: Power On
Switch on the lamp.
Step 13: Teach Remote Control
Follow the procedure to pair the Q-remote control with the light. The light fixture has a Q-receiver (antenna) for this purpose (?).
Step 12: Refer to Manual
For detailed operation and advanced features of the remote control, please read the separate instruction manual.
Reset Procedure
This procedure resets the lamp to its factory default settings.
Procedure: 5x On/Off
Turn the light on and off repeatedly five times. The diagram shows specific timing intervals for each action: the first cycle should be 5-10 seconds, followed by four cycles of 1-2 seconds each. This sequence will restore the lamp to its original state.
