Installation Instructions - Pocket Door Lock - Passage/Privacy

1. Door Prep

Prepare the door by drilling a bore hole with a diameter of 1/4 inch and a depth of 1/4 inch on both sides of the door. Ensure the bore is positioned correctly relative to the door edge and height as indicated in the diagram.

2. Jamb Prep

Prepare the door jamb by creating a mortise for the strike plate. The strike plate should be installed with a depth of 3/64 inch. Ensure correct placement on the jamb as shown in the diagram.

3. Loosen Screw

Important: Loosen the Pan Head Screws before installing the lock to the door. This applies to both sides of the door.

4. Install Lock

Install the lock mechanism into the prepared door cavity.

5. Secure Lock

Secure the pocket door lock to the door using the provided wood screws. Machine screws are an optional alternative for securing the lock.

Important Reminder

Remember to re-tighten all Pan Head Screws after installation is complete. This ensures the lock is securely fastened.
