Passage Function

1. Door Prep

Prepare the door with the following dimensions:

• 1" Deep Bore
• 2-3/8" Backset
• Ø 2-1/8" Bore
• 1" Bore

2. Jamb Prep

Prepare the jamb with the following dimensions:

• 1" Deep
• 1/16" Bore
• 2-3/8" Backset

3. Install Latch

Install the latch mechanism into the door.

4. Install Interior and Exterior Trims

Attach the interior and exterior trims. Note that trims may vary depending on style.

Privacy Function

1. Door Prep

Prepare the door with the following dimensions:

• 1" Deep Bore
• 2-3/8" Backset
• Ø 2-1/8" Bore
• 1" Bore

2. Jamb Prep

Prepare the jamb with the following dimensions:

• 1" Deep
• 1/16" Bore
• 2-3/8" Backset

3. Install Latch

Install the latch mechanism into the door.

4. Install Interior and Exterior Trims

Attach the interior and exterior trims. Note that trims may vary depending on style.

Note: For thick doors, use the tail piece extension.

Dummy for Double Door Application

1. Door Prep

Edge Pull Specification:

• 3" Depth
• 2-3/8" Backset
• Ø 2-1/8" Bore
• 1" Bore
• 4-1/16"
• 3/4"
• 3"
• 9/16"
• 5/8" Depth

2. Dummy for Double Door Application

Install the dummy trim. The privacy strike plate and dust box are included with a privacy lock purchase.
