- If the adapter is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service technician, or a similarly qualified person to prevent dangerous situations.
- Never use the appliance if its adapter or plug is damaged, if it does not work properly, or if it has fallen and been damaged. In such cases, take the appliance to a specialized service for safety and proper function checks.
- Always unplug the appliance from the power supply by pulling the adapter out of the socket when refilling the tank or installing it back onto the appliance.
- The appliance is intended for home use and similar environments (shops, offices, hotels, motels, B&Bs). It is not intended for commercial use.

- When cleaning or putting away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug, not the cable) if the appliance is not being used.
- Never throw or place any objects into the openings. Do not place hands, face, or body on or near the water vapor outlet. Do not cover the water vapor outlet or place anything on it when the appliance is running.
- Always place the appliance on a hard, flat surface, at least 2 meters from furniture, water-absorbent surfaces, and electrical devices. Place a water-resistant pad under the diffuser. - Never leave water in the tank when the appliance is not in use. Clean and dry the water tank before storing. Clean the humidifier thoroughly before the next use.
- For daily use, clean the tank regularly, at least every 3 days. Remove any deposits and limescale (see Chapter IV. MAINTENANCE).
