How to Install
- Install 2 AAA batteries into the battery case.
- For non-metal surfaces: Peel off the sticker from the back of the metal plate and stick it onto the surface. Then, place the device onto the metal surface so the magnet holds them together. (Visual description: One side of the sticker is metal, the other is adhesive.)
- Download the SwitchBot app from the App Store (iOS 11.0+) or Google Play (Android 5.0+).
- Open the SwitchBot app, register or sign in to your SwitchBot account, and add the Meter device.
Features
Change the Temperature Unit
Press the button on the back of the Meter once to change the temperature unit on the physical display.
Reset the Device
Hold the button on the back of the Meter for 15 seconds.
Setting Alert
Set temperature/humidity alerts. Notifications are sent to your phone via Bluetooth. Note: An Android phone requires a SwitchBot Hub Plus/Mini for this feature.
Remote Access
With a SwitchBot Hub Plus/Mini (sold separately), monitor the Meter remotely. History data syncs to the SwitchBot server via the Hub. Enable Cloud Service first.
Scenes
With a SwitchBot Hub Plus/Mini (sold separately), create automations triggered by temperature/humidity thresholds to control SwitchBot devices and home appliances.
Voice Control
With a SwitchBot Hub Plus/Mini (sold separately), receive humidity/temperature data via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri, and more. Enable Cloud Services first.
Works with IFTTT
With a SwitchBot Hub Plus/Mini (sold separately), control SwitchBot devices and appliances based on temperature/humidity thresholds using IFTTT. Other smart routines like sunrise/sunset can also be used.
History Data
Review temperature/humidity data on interactive graphs in the Meter's History page. Tap a point on the graph for specific data.
Export the Data
On the History Page, click "Export Data" below the graphs to save data as a CSV file.
