Getting Started: Installation & Setup

Preparation

Before using the device, please read this user manual carefully.

Connect the USB cable to the Hub Mini and a 5V 1A power adapter.
Install the SwitchBot app.
- iOS: Download from the Apple App Store.
- Android: Download from Google Play.
Create or log in to your SwitchBot account.

Installation Location Tips

The Hub Mini can be placed on a flat surface or hung on a wall within the infrared signal range of your appliances.

Infrared (IR) Signal Range:

Vertical: 360°
Horizontal: 180°
Maximum effective range: 7 meters (23 feet)

Note: Bluetooth connection range is up to 80 meters (262 feet). Devices using Bluetooth remotes are not supported.

Controlling Your Appliances

Hub Control (Scenes)

Voice Control

Firmware Upgrades

New firmware versions are provided regularly to offer new features and fix app bugs. The SwitchBot app will notify you when a new firmware version is available. When upgrading, ensure the SwitchBot product has sufficient battery and keep your mobile phone as close as possible.

Factory Reset

You can reset the Hub Mini by pressing and holding the button on the top of the Hub Mini for 15 seconds, or until the LED indicator light blinks.
