Flexit Access Point Configuration Guide and Technical Data

This document provides instructions for configuring your Flexit Access Point and details its technical specifications.

1. Before Your Start

Determine the appropriate operating mode for your Flexit Nordic-/EcoNordic-product.

Scenarios Operating Modes
Local connection to the Flexit Nordic-/EcoNordic-product if no network is available Access Point Mode (Default Mode)
Connect the Flexit Nordic-/EcoNordic-product to a wireless network if no wired (Ethernet) connection is possible Client Mode

2. Configure the Access Point

2.1. Access Point Mode (Default)

Use this mode for a local connection to your Flexit Nordic-/EcoNordic-product when no network is available.

  1. Connect the access point according to Steps A to D in the diagram.
  2. Power on the access point. Wait until the Power [power-led] and Wireless [wireless-led] indicators are lit and stable. Use the default SSID and Password printed on the label of the access point to join its Wi-Fi network.
  3. Connect to the Flexit Nordic-/EcoNordic-product using the Flexit Go App on your mobile device.

2.2. Client Mode

Connects your Flexit Nordic-/EcoNordic-product to a wireless network.

  1. Connect the access point according to Steps A to D in the diagram.
  2. Power on the access point. Wait until the Power [power-led] and Wireless [wireless-led] indicators are lit and stable.
  3. Use the standard Wi-Fi password on the label under the access point to connect to the Wi-Fi network from your mobile device/PC.
  4. Launch a web browser and enter 192.168.0.254. Log in using 'admin' (all lowercase) for both username and password.
  5. Click Quick Setup and then click Next.
  6. Change the Login Password if desired, and then click Next.
  7. Select Client mode and click Next. Follow the step-by-step instructions to complete the configuration.
  8. Your Flexit Nordic-/EcoNordic-product is now connected to the internet.

2.3. Power On Via PoE Injector

Power the device using the included passive PoE injector when the access point is located far from a power outlet.

Note: The passive PoE injector supports a cable length up to 30 meters, but the value may vary due to the environment.
