Dimensions

Front View: 90 mm width, 100 mm height.

Side View: 32 mm depth (casing front to back), 36 mm total depth.

Mounting Pattern: 56 mm x 56 mm center mounting holes. 4.2 mm offset for connection box. Includes cable entry point.

Terminal Connections: Compatible with Siemens CS2000 and CS2500 control units. Terminal labels include X2, X3, and M.

Installation Instructions

General: The room temperature sensor is designed for wall mounting. It should be installed in a flush-mounted connection box of any type. The connection cable can be either recessed or surface-mounted.

Mounting Location: Install on an inner wall of the room to be regulated. Avoid mounting in a recess, between shelves, behind curtains, above or near heat sources. The unit must not be placed in direct sunlight. The conduit for the cable should be sealed at the sensor to prevent drafts in the conduit from affecting the sensor's reading. Consider the allowed ambient temperature.

Installation Steps:

  1. Disconnect power from the ventilation unit.
  2. Mount the temperature sensor at the selected location.
  3. Run a two-wire cable between the sensor and the ventilation unit's control cabinet.
  4. Connect the wires to the sensor.
  5. Connect the wires in the control cabinet at the marked position (refer to Figure 1). NOTE: This sensor replaces an existing extract air sensor that is already mounted.
  6. Connect power to the ventilation unit.

Outdoor Sensor (Art.nr. 09369)

Product Description

Temperature sensor for mounting outdoors.

Function

Replaces an already mounted duct sensor used as an outdoor sensor, typically placed near the ventilation unit. It provides a more accurate reading of the actual outdoor temperature.

Dimensions

Front View: 80 mm diameter.

Side View: 50 mm depth.

Mounting Pattern: Features a Ø 16 mm cable entry. Mounting holes are spaced for compatibility. Includes a drilling template.

Terminal Connections: Compatible with Siemens CS2000 and CS2500 control units. Terminal labels include X3 and M.

Installation Instructions

General: The outdoor temperature sensor is designed for mounting on an outdoor wall. It features a plastic casing with a removable lid. The measurement element is embedded in resin. Terminal blocks are located under the lid. The connection cable can be routed either surface-mounted or recessed into the wall. A sealing cable gland can be screwed onto the underside of the casing.

Mounting Location: Mount the sensor on the outer wall. It should not be exposed to morning sunlight. If in doubt, a north or northwest-facing wall is recommended. The sensor should preferably be mounted in the center of the building or heating zone, and at least 2.5 meters above ground level. Do not mount the sensor in the following locations: Above windows, doors, ventilation grilles, or other heat sources. Under balconies or roof gutters. A cable sheath, padding, or sealant should be used for the cable entry from the wall. The outdoor temperature sensor must not be painted over.

NOTE: This replaces an existing outdoor air sensor that is already mounted.
  6. Connect power to the ventilation unit.
