Behringer EUROLIVE Series Quick Start Guide

This guide provides essential information for setting up and operating your Behringer EUROLIVE PA speaker system.

Important Safety Instructions

Please read and follow all safety instructions carefully. Terminals marked with a symbol carry electrical current of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock. Use only high-quality professional speaker cables. Do not remove covers or attempt user servicing; refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Avoid exposure to rain and moisture, and do not place liquid-filled objects on the apparatus. Ensure proper ventilation and avoid heat sources. Always connect to a properly grounded mains socket. Unplug during lightning storms or long periods of non-use. Dispose of this product responsibly according to WEEE directives.

Hook-Up

Connecting a Microphone: Connect your microphone to the XLR INPUT using a balanced cable.

Connecting a Stereo Signal Source: Connect a stereo source (e.g., CD player, mixer output) to the 1/4" TRS INPUT using appropriate cables. For stereo, use both the left and right inputs if available, or a stereo-to-mono adapter.

Linking Several Speakers: Use an XLR cable to connect the LINK OUTPUT of one speaker to the INPUT of another speaker for daisy-chaining.

Controls

Note: Never use the 1/4" and XLR inputs simultaneously.

Getting Started

  1. Placement: Position the speaker(s) on stands or as wedge monitors on the floor.
  2. Connections: Make all necessary audio and power connections. Do NOT turn on the power yet.
  3. Power On Source: Turn on your audio source (mixer, microphone, etc.).
  4. Power On Speaker: Press the POWER SWITCH. The POWER LED will illuminate.
  5. Playback: Play your audio source or speak into the microphone at a normal to loud level.
  6. Adjust Level: Adjust the LEVEL knob for the desired volume. If the CLIP LED flashes, reduce the input level. Adjust the LEVEL knob on each speaker if using multiple units.
  7. Equalization: If necessary, adjust the HIGH and LOW EQUALIZER knobs on each speaker to fine-tune the sound to your preference.
