The term "power tool" refers to your mains-operated (corded) or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
Work Area Safety
- Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
- Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Sparks from power tools may ignite dust or fumes.
- Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause loss of control.
Electrical Safety
- Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug. Do not use adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces (pipes, radiators, ranges, refrigerators). Increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
- Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool increases the risk of electric shock.
- Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling, or unplugging. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
- When operating outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use.
- If operating in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) or ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protected supply.
- Power tools can produce electromagnetic fields [EMF]. Users of pacemakers and similar medical devices should consult the manufacturer or doctor before operating.
Personal Safety
- Stay alert, use common sense. Do not use while tired, under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE): eye protection, dust mask, non-skid shoes, hard hat, hearing protection.
- Prevent unintentional starting: Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power or battery.
- Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the tool on.
- Do not overreach. Maintain proper footing and balance for better control.
- Dress properly: Avoid loose clothing, jewelry, or long hair that can get caught in moving parts.
- If dust extraction is provided, ensure it is connected and used properly.
- Do not let familiarity lead to complacency. A careless action can cause severe injury.
Power Tool Use and Care
- Do not force the tool. Use the correct tool for the application.
- Do not use if the switch does not turn on/off. Such tools are dangerous and must be repaired.
- Disconnect from power source and/or battery before making adjustments, changing accessories, or storing.
- Store idle tools out of reach of children and untrained persons.
- Maintain tools: Check for misalignment, binding, or damaged parts. Repair if damaged.
- Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
- Use tools, accessories, and bits according to instructions, considering working conditions.
- Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean, and free from oil and grease.
Battery Tool Use and Care
- Recharge only with the specified charger.
- Use power tools only with designated battery packs.
- Keep batteries away from metal objects when not in use to prevent short circuits.
- Avoid contact with ejected battery liquid; flush with water. Seek medical help for eye contact.
- Do not use damaged or modified battery packs or tools.
- Do not expose batteries or tools to fire or excessive temperature (above 130°C).
- Follow charging instructions and charge within the specified temperature range.
Service
- Have power tools serviced by qualified personnel using identical replacement parts.
- Never service damaged battery packs.
- Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
Cordless Impact Wrench Safety Warnings

Assembly
Selecting Correct Impact Socket
Always use the correct size impact socket for bolts and nuts. An incorrect size can result in inaccurate torque and damage.
Installing or Removing Impact Socket
CAUTION: Ensure the socket and mounting portion are not damaged before installation. Ensure it is firmly secured after insertion.
Tool with Ring Spring (Fig. 1)
For impact sockets without O-ring and pin:
- Impact socket
- Square drive
- Ring spring
Push the impact socket onto the square drive until it locks. To remove, pull it off.
Tool with O-ring and Pin (Fig. 2)
- Impact socket
- O-ring
- Pin
Move the O-ring out of the groove, remove the pin. Fit the socket onto the square drive, aligning holes. Insert the pin through both holes. Return the O-ring to its original position to retain the pin. To remove, reverse the procedure.

Operating Instructions
Operating
CAUTION: Always insert the battery cartridge fully until it locks. If not, it may fall out, causing injury.
Hold the tool firmly and place the socket over the bolt/nut. Turn on the tool to fasten. Torque may vary by bolt size, material, etc.
Direction Control
WARNING: NEVER change direction while the tool is running. This can cause permanent damage.
- Use the Forward/Reverse Switch: Right for anti-clockwise, Left for clockwise.
- Central position locks the wrench and prevents operation (safety feature).
Note: Sporadic sparking from motor carbon brushes during use is normal.
Switching On/Off
WARNING: Always wear adequate PPE.
- Start the wrench by squeezing the Trigger Switch.
- Work Light illuminates when Trigger Switch is squeezed. If the switch cannot be pressed, check the Forward/Reverse switch is not in the central (locked) position.
- Speed is controlled by trigger pressure: further press = faster speed.
- Release the Trigger Switch to stop.
WARNING: If the tool gets excessively hot, stop immediately and allow it to cool. Cooling can be aided by running at max speed with no load. Ensure Motor Vents are not blocked to prevent dust entry, which can damage the tool.
Install Belt Clip
The belt clip is for temporary hanging. Install it into a groove in the tool housing and secure with a screw. Loosen the screw to remove.
Maintenance
General Inspection
- Regularly check fixing screws are tight.
- Inspect the supply cord for damage or wear before each use. Repairs by an authorized service center.
Cleaning
- Keep the tool clean. Dirt and dust cause wear.
- Clean the body with a soft brush or dry cloth. Use clean, dry compressed air for ventilation holes.
- Clean casing with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use alcohol, petrol, or strong cleaning agents.
- Never use caustic agents on plastic parts.
Lubrication
- Slightly lubricate all moving parts at regular intervals with a suitable spray lubricant.
Disposal
Adhere to national regulations for disposing of power tools. Do not dispose of with household waste. Contact local waste disposal authority for correct disposal information.
