Product Overview

Aspen Manufacturing's DX Series Dedicated Horizontal Aluminum Coils are engineered for high performance and reliability in HVAC and heat pump systems. These coils are designed for field configurability with Universal A2L Refrigerant Technology, supporting R32 and R454B refrigerants.

Standard Features

Rifled aluminum tubing and enhanced aluminum fins.
Multi-stage leak testing: 500 psi pressure decay, Helium mass spectrometer tested, then Nitrogen pressurized and factory sealed for optimal system integrity and long-term reliability.
Refrigerant lines exit the top of the coil.
Schrader valve on the suction line for pressure assurance testing.
Drain Pan Connections: 3/4" NPT.
Heavy-duty polypropylene drain pans.
Identical inlet and outlet opening dimensions (without end caps).
Three-piece service door on top for easy service access.
Fully insulated cabinets with faced insulation.
ETL and AHRI listed for R22, R410A, R454B, and R32 refrigerants.
A2L Refrigerants are certified with the Refrigerant Detection System (RDS).
A2L refrigerants require a Refrigerant Detection System (RDS) for compliance.
AHRI certifiable with all brands of A/C and heat pump systems.

Customization Options

Universal A2L Refrigerant Technology for R32 & R454B Systems

Aspen coils and air handlers feature Universal A2L Refrigerant Technology, allowing field configurability for either R32 or R454B refrigerants. Each unit ships with a factory-installed A2L metering device that can be easily swapped at installation. An option for a factory- or field-installed universal Refrigerant Detection System (RDS), compatible with both refrigerants, is also available.
