Aspen Manufacturing DE Series High-Efficiency Cased Aluminum Multi-Position Coils

This document provides detailed information on the DE Series of high-efficiency, cased aluminum, multi-position coils manufactured by Aspen Manufacturing.

Product Overview

The DE Series coils are designed for versatility and efficiency, suitable for a wide range of HVAC applications. They are engineered for multi-position installation and feature rifled aluminum tubing and enhanced aluminum fins for optimal performance.

Standard Features

Rifled aluminum tubing and enhanced aluminum fins.
Standard Upflow configuration; Downflow applications require a separately sold field-installed downflow kit.
Multi-stage leak testing (500 psi pressure decay, mass spectrometer tested with Helium, then Nitrogen pressurized and factory sealed) ensures system integrity and long-term reliability.
Schrader valve included for pressure assurance testing.
Left/right-hand standard refrigerant and plumbing connections:
- Liquid line: 3/8" ODS
- Condensate Drains: 3/4" NPT
- Suction line: 3/4" ODS (1-1/2 to 3-ton models), 7/8" ODS (3-1/2 to 5-ton models)
Heavy-duty plastic drain pans are standard.
Embossed galvanized cabinets with faced insulation. Split access doors provide easy service access.
AHRI certifiable with all brands of A/C and heat pump systems.
Compatible with A2L refrigerants, requiring a Refrigerant Detection System (RDS) for compliance.
ETL listed for R22 and R410A. ETL listed for R454B and R32 when used with a Refrigerant Detection System (RDS).

Warranty

A ten-year limited warranty is provided with product registration.

Universal A2L Refrigerant Technology: Designed for R32 & R454B systems, these Versa Pro coils are easily configurable with the proper metering device and utilize universal Refrigerant Detection Systems (RDS) for regulatory compliance.

Notes:

Plastic drain pans are not recommended for oil furnaces or applications where outlet temperature may exceed 290°F +/- 5°F. Metal drain pans are recommended for such applications.
