PRUNUS J-125 FM/AM Radio User Manual
Thank you for purchasing the PRUNUS J-125 radio. To ensure the best performance, please read this manual carefully before use and pay close attention to the precautions.
Precautions
- Remove batteries if the radio will not be used for an extended period.
- Do not expose the product to liquids.
- Avoid using the radio at temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius.
Functional Components
The PRUNUS J-125 has the following components:

Power Supply
- The J-125 requires 2 AAA batteries, which are replaceable.
- This radio supports rechargeable batteries. To charge, turn off the radio and use a DC 3V/500-1000mAh power adapter plugged into the
. Ensure the adapter voltage matches the requirement to prevent damage.
Note: Do not use the radio while it is charging.
Radio Reception
- Turn the radio on by pressing the
. - Press
to switch between FM and AM modes. - Searching and Storing Channels:
- Auto Search and Store: Press and hold
for 3 seconds to automatically scan, store, and number available channels (up to 20, labeled P00-P19). - Previous/Next Search: Long press the
or to scan for the previous or next available channel. The radio will stop and play when a channel is detected. - Manual Preset: While a channel is playing, press
to store it. When "PRESET" appears on the screen, use to decrease or to increase the channel number (P00-P19). Press again or wait 5 seconds to save. The blinking "PRESET" will disappear upon successful storage.
- Auto Search and Store: Press and hold

or to select stored channels. - Adjust the volume by pressing and holding
or . - Turn off the radio by pressing the
. The radio enters clock mode when off.
Note: For optimal reception, adjust the radio's position and orientation. Indoors, place the radio near a window and away from electronic devices like computers, TVs, and mobile phones.
If batteries are removed, stored channels will need to be reset upon reinsertion.
Time Function
- Setting the Time:
- Press
to enter clock mode. - Press
to begin setting the clock time. - Use the
or to select between 12 or 24-hour format. The numbers will flash for 5 seconds, requiring selection within this period. - Within 5 seconds of selecting the format, press
. The hour digits will blink. Use the or to adjust the hour within 5 seconds. - Repeat the process from step 4 to set the minutes.

again or wait 5 seconds. The minutes will stop blinking, and the set time will be displayed.

- Setting the Alarm Clock:

to switch to alarm clock mode; the alarm clock icon (M) will appear. - Press
to set the alarm. The (M) icon and hour digits will blink. Use the or to adjust the hour within 5 seconds. - Follow the same procedure to set the alarm minutes.
- After setting, the numbers will flash for 5 seconds before returning to the time display, indicating the alarm is set.

- Stopping the Alarm Clock:

to stop the alarm. It will repeat at the same time the next day. - To cancel the alarm completely, press
. The alarm icon will disappear. Pressing again will reactivate the canceled alarm.

Note: If batteries are removed or depleted, the time and alarm settings must be reset after reinserting new batteries.
When the radio is playing, the time will be displayed after 10 seconds.
Headphones
To listen privately, use headphones:
- Plug headphones into the
. The radio will automatically switch to headphone mode, muting the built-in speaker. - For stereo sound, press the
to activate stereo mode. - Removing the headphones will switch the audio back to the speaker. Adjust volume as needed.
Lock Key
- To lock the buttons, long press the
until the key icon (~) appears and flashes. This prevents other buttons from functioning. - To unlock, long press the
again until the (~) icon disappears.
