Article 3 Paragraph 2 (b): Continuous and Real-Time Data Generation
The connected product is capable of generating data continuously every 10 seconds. The app or system can pull this data at any time.
Article 3 Paragraph 2 (c): Data Storage Duration
Connected products store data on cloud servers. Device DP point (DataPoint) data is stored for 7 days by default.
Article 3 Paragraph 2 (d): User Access, Retrieval, and Erasure of Data
Users can access, retrieve, or erase data through the following technical means:
- Contact Smart Consumer Service Account to request a snapshot of the data set from the cloud service.
- Configuration and the last value of data fields are directly displayed to the user in the Smart+ App.
- To delete data for individual products, users shall unbind the device in the Smart+ App from their account and select "Unbind device and delete data."
- To delete cloud data, users shall use the "Delete Account" function in the account and security section of the App.
- To delete App data, users shall uninstall the Smart+ App from their smartphone or tablet.
