Data Type, Format, and Volume: Describes the type, format, and estimated volume of product data the connected product is capable of generating.

MATTER Specifications: Attributes and data format align with MATTER Specifications.

Article 3 Paragraph 2 (b)

Continuous Data Generation: The connected product is capable of generating data continuously and in real-time.

Data Storage: Data is generated event-based, and the last value is stored in internal product memory after every status change.

Article 3 Paragraph 2 (c)

Data Storage Location: The connected product can store data on-device or on a remote server, including the intended duration of retention where applicable.

Retention Policy: Products store data only on the device until a factory reset is performed. For products connected to a MATTER compatible Control System (e.g., IOT Gateway, App, Home Assistant), consult the control system manufacturer's documentation for details on data storage by control system components and related services.

Article 3 Paragraph 2 (d)

Data Access, Retrieval, and Erasure: Details how users can access, retrieve, or erase data, including technical means, terms of use, and quality of service.

  1. Users can access product data via MATTER compliant Control Systems and their associated services after binding the product to their chosen system.
  2. Users may use the Ledvance SMART+ App or any other MATTER compatible App or Control System for device control.
  3. Product data can be erased by resetting the device to its factory default state (uncommissioned). This can be achieved by unbinding it from the control system or by cycling the mains power supply five times.
  4. QOS: 2.4 GHz WiFi network.
